CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY

An infusion set check valve assembly includes a self-contained housing that defines inlet ports and an outlet port. The assembly also includes at least one check valve disposed within the self-contained housing between the outlet channel and at least one of the inlet ports. The at least one check valve is configured to open for a first fluid to flow from a first inlet to a patient line via an outlet channel while a second fluid also flows from a second inlet to the patient line via the outlet channel. The at least one check valve closes to prevent the first fluid from flowing to the patient line via the outlet channel while the second fluid flows to the patient line.

Valve and fluid control device including valve

A valve includes a first plate having a first vent hole; a second plate defining a valve chamber, which communicates with the first vent hole, between the second plate and the first plate, the second plate having a second vent hole that communicates with the valve chamber and that does not face the first vent hole; and a movable plate having a third vent hole that faces the second vent hole and disposed in the valve chamber such that the movable plate is movable between the first plate and the second plate. The second plate has an auxiliary hole that does not face the third vent hole in the movable plate, the auxiliary hole being surrounded by an edge portion that forms a first corner portion having a substantially convex rounded shape in front view of a principal surface of the second plate at a side facing the valve chamber.

Gas-filled resilient body and use thereof

A gas-filled resilient body and uses thereof are described. The gas-filled resilient body may be used as a valve member, as a spring or as a gas-propelled dispenser.

Connector for transferring fluid and method of use

A connector for transferring fluid and method therefor. The connector may have a first port and a second port which may be coupled together at a main channel with a valve element therein controlling fluid flow through the first port. The first port joins the main channel to provide a fluid path around the valve element and through the second port.

A valve includes a first plate, a side wall plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate has a plurality of first vent holes. The second plate constitutes a valve chamber along with the first plate and the side wall plate. The second plate includes a second principal surface opposing a first principal surface of the first plate. The second plate has a plurality of second vent holes. The third plate has a plurality of third vent holes. The plurality of third vent holes overlaps with the plurality of first vent holes without overlapping with the plurality of second vent holes in a plan view in a direction in which the first plate and the second plate oppose each other. Both principal surfaces of the third plate oppose the first principal surface and the second principal surface. The third plate is disposed in the valve chamber.

CHECK VALVE STRUCTURE

A check valve structure includes: a valve casing communicating with each of inflow and outflow paths for a fluid; and a valve element which is disposed in the valve casing and configured of an elastic material. The valve element has a thin portion, and a thick portion protruding from the substantial center of one surface of the thin portion. The valve casing has: a valve element support portion including an annular bottom portion capable of supporting an outer edge of a bottom portion of the thick portion, and a peripheral wall portion continuing to an outer peripheral edge of the annular bottom portion; and a valve seat portion including a valve element contact portion which is in contact with a vicinity of an outer peripheral edge portion on the other surface side of the thin portion, and a valve seat surface which can be in contact with the thin portion.

Ventilating valve for a sewer pipe

A reliable low-wear ventilating valve for mounting on a sewer pipe, to prevent the development of a negative pressure and also to prevent the escaping of unpleasant odors. The ventilating valve includes a tubular body, one end of which is configured as a fastening piece for mounting on a sewer pipe and the other end of which is configured as a ventilating valve head which has inlet openings for the inlet air into the sewer pipe, which are located between concentric rings which are arranged at a distance from the tubular body and extending symmetrically about the latter on ribs of the tubular body.

Pressure controlled and pressure control valve for an inflatable object

A pressure controlled valve assembly has a housing with a pressure controlled valve moveable between an open and closed position with respect to a valve seat for controlling communication between a pneumatic supply and a pneumatic pressure control source. The housing also has first and second passageways with a pair of check valves in each passageway. Each passageway is connectable to a reversible pump such that when the pump operates in one direction one pair of check valves allow flow while the other pair of check valves prevents backflow.
