ELECTROPNEUMATIC FIELD DEVICE
An electropneumatic field device, such as an electropneumatic setting regulator or the like, incorporates a protective housing which has a housing cover and in which at least one electronic component and at least one pneumatic component are arranged. The protective housing is connected to at least one electric field input, at least one pneumatic supply inlet, and at least one pneumatic field outlet. The electric field input is connected to the electronic component, the pneumatic supply inlet and the pneumatic field outlet are coupled to the pneumatic component, the pneumatic component is connected to the electronic component for signaling purposes, and the protective housing has a ventilation device paired with the pneumatic component. The pneumatic component is at least partly surrounded by the housing cover which is releasably connected to the protective housing, and the ventilation device of the protective housing is integrated into the housing cover.
Aerosol-generating device with reduced leakage
An aerosol-generating device includes a housing having a first end defining a mouthpiece, a second end, and a cavity defined between the first end and the second end. The device also includes a reservoir within the cavity. The reservoir is configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The device also includes an atomizer and a valve within the mouthpiece of the housing. The valve has a first side and an second side. The second side of the valve includes a hydrophilic coating, a hydrophobic coating, or both a hydrophilic coating and a hydrophobic coating.
WELL PLATE ASSEMBLY WITH INTERIOR CHANNEL SYSTEM
A well plate assembly with an interior channel system in the well plate lid provides a more efficient and uniform distribution of fluid into a receptacle positioned below the well plate lid. The channel system in the lid allows air, or other fluid, to pass through with the use of a pump to each of a plurality of channels in the receptacle. Inlet and outlet valves in the lid prevent a gasket positioned between the lid and the receptacle from releasing contact with the receptacle due to high pressure experienced during the injection of fluid into the assembly. Specifically, pressure under a specified tolerance passes through the inlet valves, and if the pressure within the channel system exceeds the limit of the outlet valve, the outlet valve opens and allows air to escape the lid safely without disturbing the fluid flow into the channels below.
UMBRELLA CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY HAVING RETENTION PLATE
A check valve assembly includes a first port fitting and a second port fitting with a base secured therebetween. The base has an annular sleeve encircling a seat, the seat having a central mounting hole and one or more flow channels passing therethrough. An umbrella valve includes a flexible sealing disk having an outer surface and an opposing inner surface, a mounting stem extending from the inner surface and projecting into the mounting hole of the base, the sealing disk being movable between a first position wherein at least a portion of the sealing disk sits on the seat so as to cover the one or more flow channels and a second position wherein the sealing disk is resiliently flexed so as to at least partially uncover the one or more flow channels. A retention plate is disposed between first port fitting and the seat of the base so that the retention plate sits against the outer surface of the sealing disk.
Vent plug and method
A vent plug and method are provide for isolating a feature of a part. The vent plug includes a plug receivable in an opening in the part to form an airtight seal between the plug and the surface of the part. A stem is receivable in a bore through the plug. The stem includes a cap and a collar. The cap has a sealing surface extending radially from an outer surface of the stem and engageable with a first surface of the plug such that sealing surface overlaps a vent hole extending through the plug. The collar extends radially from the outer surface of the stem and captures the plug between the collar and the cap.
VALVE FOR INFLATABLE APPARATUSES
The present invention relates to a valve for inflatable apparatuses. The valve comprises a housing, a sealing disc and a handle. The handle is coupled to the sealing disc, and is adapted for rotating the sealing disc within the housing.
Gravity independent pressure relief valve
A pressure relief valve is provided that includes a housing and a flap. The housing includes a plurality of receptacle members with openings therebetween, and the flap is configured to be accepted by the housing and to contact the receptacle members in a closed position. Further, the flap covers the openings and inhibits airflow through the openings in a closed position, and the flap is biasable to allow airflow through the openings in an open position.
CHECK VALVE WITH FLASH SEAL
Check valve assemblies for fluid flow sets and devices are provided. The check valve assembly includes an inlet body including a fluid inlet, first and second seal beads, and a central channel. An outlet body includes a fluid outlet and a stem having a centering post, the centering post received by the central channel of the inlet body. A seal includes inner and outer rings, wherein the inner ring is configured to engage with the first seal bead and the outer ring is configured to engage with the second seal bead in a fully sealed position of the check valve assembly. Fluid flow sets and methods for manufacturing check valve assemblies are also provided.
AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM
An air delivery system includes a drain valve. The drain valve includes a flexible valve body, and a base portion. The valve body includes a valve main portion having a substantially disk-like and conical surface-like shape. The base portion includes a drain hole, and a ring-like region on a surface of the base portion. The ring-like region has a diameter which is smaller than a diameter of the valve main portion, and surrounds the drain hole. The valve body is fitted to the base portion such that the valve main portion covers the drain hole. When the drain valve is closed, the base portion abuts against the valve main portion at the ring-like region, and a peripheral portion, of the valve main portion, which is located in the outer periphery portion than the ring-like region, is spaced apart from the surface of the base portion.
RELIEF VALVE
Provide is a relief valve in which the flexibility of an attaching position is higher than a conventional relief valve. In the relief valve of the present invention, a discharge hole for discharging a fluid is arranged on a side surface of a cylindrical portion which protrudes from an end surface of a head portion in a bolt-type valve body. A direction change member which changes a direction in which the discharge hole is open to an arbitrary direction is provided. In this way, the relief valve is attached to a fluid device, and then with the direction change member, it is possible to direct the fluid discharge direction to a desired direction, and accordingly, the flexibility of the attaching position of the relief valve is enhanced as compared with the conventional relief valve.
