WHEEL VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR TIRE INFLATION/DEFLATION SYSTEM
A valve assembly for a tire inflation/deflation system includes a body having a control port and a tire port, and a valve member for fluidly connecting or disconnecting the control port with the tire port. In one embodiment, the valve includes a fluid-operated damper having a damper chamber for controlling a timing of the valve member. A vent valve is provided for permitting excess fluid pressure to escape from the damper chamber. In another embodiment, the valve member includes a diaphragm separating first and second fluid chambers. A vent passage and at least one resilient fluid pressure-operated valve element are provided for enabling fluid to vent from the first chamber to the second chamber. Multiple-redundant valve elements may be provided to form an isolation gap that restricts contamination of the valve assembly.
VALVE FOR INFLATABLE APPARATUSES
The present invention relates to a valve for inflatable apparatuses. The valve comprises a housing, a sealing disc and a handle. The handle is coupled to the sealing disc, and is adapted for rotating the sealing disc within the housing.
Inflatable device with recessed fluid controller and self-sealing valve
A fluid controller comprising a housing separating an interior of the housing from an inflatable bladder is disclosed, the fluid controller including a plurality of valves fluidly coupling the interior of the housing to the inflatable bladder through a respective opening in the housing, a pump located at least partly within an interior of the housing, wherein the plurality of valves and respective orifices are configured to provide a fluid path between the interior of the housing and the inflatable bladder during inflation of the inflatable bladder, and wherein a valve and respective orifice is biased open to provide a fluid path between the interior of the housing and the inflatable bladder for fluid release.
Insertable bladder system for inflatable boat repair
A thin air bag/bladder, which when packaged and attached to an air valve system is inserted into an inflatable boat, or inflatable structure to repair a puncture or leak. This valve and adapter system is used to fasten and lock the valve structure in place during use. After attachment to the air valve system, the packaged bag is inserted into the inflatable structure with a collapsible tent pole/stick through the pre-existing valve opening with newly installed adapter. A valve system and bag/bladder will be needed for each separate air chamber of the boat design, whatever the length, diameter, or number of individual chambers. This will allow a replacement bag to be user retrofitted at any later time, whenever needed to repair a puncture or leakage, in any inflatable boat, life-raft or inflatable device.
VALVE
Provided is a valve, relating to the mechanical equipment technical field, comprising a valve body provided with a passage configured for allowing a fluid to pass through and a valve core disk provided within the passage and rotatable relative to the valve body. The valve core disk is provided with through holes and has one side face provided with a one-way diaphragm which is used for sealing the through holes in one direction to enable the valve core disk to seal the passage in one direction. Since the valve core disk can rotate relative to the valve body, one-way-inflation and -deflation can be realized, and during deflation, the passage can be opened for deflation just by rotating the valve core disk. Users can adjust a deflating speed by rotating the valve core disk. The valve not only has a simple structure, but also is convenient for the user to deflate.
Air bag packaging arrangement and self-adhesive checking valve
An air bag packaging arrangement and a self-adhesive checking valve, the air bag packaging arrangement includes an air bag and an air valve which is the self-adhesive checking valve. The air bag includes first and second cell overlapped layers to form an air chamber and a valve opening. The air valve includes first and second sealing films overlapped between the first and second cell layers, and a strengthening film provided between the first valve film and the first cell film to strengthen a joint strength between the first valve film and the first cell film, so as to prevent the first valve film from being broken, so as to further avoid an air leakage.
DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC INFLATION-DEFLATION OF A CONTAINMENT CAPACITY FOR A PRESSURIZED GASEOUS FLUID
Described herein is an inflation/deflation device of the type comprising a portion provided with an intake orifice for taking in a gaseous fluid under pressure, and a portion provided firstly with an inflation/deflation orifice designed to communicate with the confinement capacity, and secondly with a discharge orifice opening out between the two portions; and a valve member control system for inflation/deflation operations per se. In accordance with the invention, one of the portions is provided with arrangements for receiving a washer, which arrangements are suitable for allowing said washer to deform elastically, under the effect of a pressure of a gaseous fluid discharging through the discharge orifice, so as to release face-on bearing by an annular protuberance provided on the other portion, and so as to generate a fluid discharge passage between said annular protuberance and said washer.
Valve for adjusting the gas pressure inside a tennis ball
A repeatable use valve in a tennis ball that uses a common sports ball inflation needle inserted into and through the valve to increase or decrease the pressure inside the ball. The increase or decrease in pressure will cause the ball to have respectively higher or lower bounce. The valve can be installed in new tennis balls at the time of manufacture. The valve can also be installed in used tennis balls, including used tennis balls that have lost some or all of their original factory pressure.
AIR BED HAVING AN IMPROVED BUILT-IN AIR PUMP
Disclosed herein is a valve assembly disposed on a top surface of an air mattress and connected to a built-in air pump. The built-in air pump can comprise: a tube-like construction defining an inner cavity between the top surface and the bottom surface; a compression spring located within the inner cavity and attached to the top surface and the bottom surface; a bellow connected to a side surface of the tube-like construction, the bellow providing an air pathway from the inner cavity to the interior volume of the air mattress; a top end cap attached to a top portion of the compression spring and abutting the top surface; and a bottom end cap attached to a bottom portion of the compression spring and abutting the bottom surface.
Assembly for a tire inflation system
An assembly for a tire inflation system includes a ring portion. The ring portion has an outer surface and an inner surface. A first projection and a second projection each extend from the inner surface. A valve assembly is connected to the ring portion and disposed in from the outer surface.
