VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR AN AIR CUSHION
An air valve assembly includes a housing defining an internal channel configured to receive a first member, the first member is fluidly connected to an air source, a plunger member positioned in the internal channel and configured to slide relative to the housing, a biasing member positioned in the internal channel and configured to apply a biasing force onto the plunger member, and a sealing member positioned in the internal channel and defining a first inflation aperture, the plunger member slidably received by the first inflation aperture. In a first inflation configuration, the first member is configured to form a magnetic connection with the sealing member and contact the plunger member to overcome the biasing force, the plunger member is configured to responsively slide relative to the first inflation aperture to facilitate a flow of air between the sealing member and the plunger member.
PNEUMATIC VALVE SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A valve assembly, a valve adapter and a bicycle tire are provided. The valve assembly includes a valve stem having a passage. A cap member is fluidly coupled to the passage and has circumferential concavity on an outer diameter adjacent an end. A core body is coupled to the valve stem and has a an axial opening. A biasing member is disposed within the axial opening. A seat is coupled between the core body and the cap member. A first sealing member is movably disposed between a first and second position, the sealing member being biased against the seat by the biasing member, the sealing member having a first end adjacent the seat and a lower portion. A second sealing member is operably coupled to the passage to selectively seal at least a portion of the passage, in response to movement of the lower portion.
TIRE EMERGENCY SAFETY VALVE
A safety valve replaces a tire valve. The valve includes a generally elongate hollow main body having an upper portion, a lower flex hose connector, a side tubular branch having a valve seat with a ball valve, an electronics housing having a battery, motor and a drive pin for the ball valve. The lower flex hose connector is adapted for connection to a flex hose or valve stem of the vehicle tire. The side branch branches from the main body and communicates with the hollow interior of the main body. The side branch has a plurality of air exit apertures at its periphery. The valve seat includes a base with an aperture therein through which the drive pin can extend through to engage the ball valve. The ball valve sits in the base and is biased in the valve seat via a spring to cover the aperture.
Pressure relief valve for inflatable structures and boats
This invention is a new and novel embodiment of inflation valve for an inflatable boat or article, which also incorporates a separate and internal pressure release valve to allow the release of air when needed due to the rise of internal pressure inside said boat caused by temperature changes during the day, or any other over-pressure situation which could cause a rupture of the seams or outer shell.
Control valve for an air maintenance tire
A control valve suitable for use with a tire and pump assembly is described that controls the flow of air from the pump into the tire. The control valve includes an optional bi-directional feature. The pathways alternatively operate to deliver ambient non-pressurized air to the air pumping tube in response to directional tire rotation against a ground surface.
Aspirator integrated pressure relief valve and vent valve for an inflation system
A valve assembly for an inflation system that includes a pressure relief valve and a vent valve. The pressure relief valve has a pressure relief housing and a pressure relief valve poppet. The pressure relief housing defines a first pressure relief cavity that is disposed between a first end wall defining a first flow port and a first wall defining a passageway and a second pressure relief cavity disposed between the first wall and a second wall. The pressure relief valve poppet is movably disposed within the first pressure relief cavity and the second pressure relief cavity. The vent valve has a vent housing and a vent valve poppet. The vent housing defines a vent cavity that is disposed between the second wall defining a vent flow port and a second end wall. The vent valve poppet is movably disposed within the vent cavity.
Valve-coupler actuating system
A valve-coupler system has a lever that extends under a length axis of the valve body to enable one-handed operation. The valve-coupler body has an opening that is configured over a valve stem and a seal actuator having a lever that can be rotated about a pivot with a single hand to create a seal around the valve stem. Additionally, a valve-coupler may have a gas inlet valve that can be activated by the same single hand to open the valve and allow gas to flow into the valve stem. The inlet valve may be configured in line with the lever whereby the inlet valve is opened when the lever is rotated about the pivot to contact the inlet valve. The inlet valve may be configured on the valve body for manipulation by a user's finger or thumb. The inlet valve may be on the top of the valve body.
Fast-switching 2/2-way cartridge valve
In a fast-switching 2/2-way cartridge valve, which can serve as a check valve, a closing movement of the closing body thereof is damped by contact portions which lie on one another and are movable in relation to one another during the closing movement. The contact portions are formed on the closing body and on the valve bore in which the closing body is guided.
VALVE ASSEMBLY AND TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM INCLUDING SAID VALVE ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a valve assembly, in particular for use in a tire inflation system, the valve assembly comprising: a valve body comprising a first fluid port and a second fluid port; a piston disposed at least partially within the valve body and configured to be moved relative to the valve body between an open position and a closed position, wherein when the piston is in the open position the first fluid port is fluidly connected with the second fluid port, and wherein when the piston is in the closed position the first fluid port is fluidly isolated from the second fluid port, wherein when the piston is in the open position the first fluid port and the second fluid port are fluidly connected with one another via a fluid channel extending through the piston. The present disclosure further relates to a tire inflation system including said valve assembly.
