VALVE APPARATUS FOR VENTING A LIQUID TANK
A valve apparatus for use in a liquid tank, includes a casing, an extractor, and a float. The casing defines a main chamber, the main chamber having an inlet orifice and at least one outlet orifice. The extractor includes at least one wall member extending substantially across the main chamber and being adapted for extracting droplets present in a vapour stream coming from the liquid tank and entering the main chamber via the inlet orifice. The float includes a closure element capable of closing off the outlet orifice(s), the float being slidably mounted along the at least one wall member.
Venting and/or bleeding valve
A venting and/or bleeding valve with a valve housing, a main valve arranged in the valve housing for rapid venting and bleeding of piping connected to the valve housing, an auxiliary valve arranged in the valve housing for operating ventilation of the piping at operating pressure, and a float arranged within the valve housing and controlling the main valve and the auxiliary valve as a function of the filling level of a fluid located in the valve housing. The venting and/or bleeding valve contains a valve position sensor for acquisition of the position of the main valve, at least one additional sensor for acquisition of the humidity and/or the pressure and/or of the temperature in an interior space of the valve housing, and an evaluation unit for acquisition of an operating state of the venting and/or bleeding valve as a function of the values acquired by the valve position sensor and any additional sensor.
VENT CONTROL VALVE FOR FUEL TANK
A vent control valve for a fuel tank controls a ventilation between a fuel tank and an outside, and includes: an annular valve seat defined in a case; a movable valve object which is movable relative to the valve seat; a seal component having an annular plate shape and held by the movable valve object to be seated on or separated from the valve seat to open and close a passage for ventilation; and an annular ridge part defined in the movable valve object or the seal component such that the movable valve object and the seal component are in contact with each other on an annular seal line.
Valve device for fuel tank
There is provided a valve device for a fuel tank including: a housing; a first float valve accommodated in a first valve chamber; and a second float valve accommodated in a second valve chamber. The housing includes a housing body and a lower cap. The housing body has a housing body peripheral wall. The housing body peripheral wall has a first valve chamber forming wall that forms an outer periphery of the first valve chamber, and a second valve chamber forming wall that has a contour shape different from that of the first valve chamber forming wall and that forms an outer periphery of the second valve chamber. The lower cap has a cap peripheral wall having a shape fitting to the housing body peripheral wall.
Weighted flapper and splined orifice plate for vent valve
A vent valve for a fuel system includes a float, a flapper assembly and an orifice plate. The flapper assembly has a flapper and a seal mounted on or fixed to the flapper. The flapper assembly can be movably engaged with the float. The orifice plate can have a plate body that includes a nipple portion extending to a terminal end that defines a valve seat. The valve seat comprises an orifice having splines arranged around an outer diameter thereof. The seal is configured to selectively engage the valve seat between a sealed, closed position and an unsealed, open position. The splines facilitate movement of the seal from the closed position to the open position with reduced reopening force.
Valve assembly for prevention of water freezing and stagnation
A valve assembly includes a valve installed in a fluid/liquid supply line, and a water circulation pipe that has a first end in fluid communication with a water supply line and a second end in fluid communication with an inner volume of the valve. Some water flowing in the water supply line is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve. The water that is diverted through the water circulation pipe and circulates in the valve has a sufficient flow to prevent freezing and/or water stagnation in the valve.
Air valve
This invention relates to an air valve which includes a deflector positioned inside a float chamber in order to improve the flow of air through the air valve. Further, the air valve includes an upper opening leading from the float chamber and having a transverse cross-section which increases away from the float chamber in order to smooth air flow. The invention further relates to an air valve accessory whereby an air valve can be modified in order to improve air flow therethrough.
Gravity Drain Valve
A drain valve comprises a housing having a housing wall defining an internal flow passage through the housing; and a post held within the flow passage, the post supporting a first valve member, such that the first valve member contacts a valve seat on the housing wall. The post is selectively configurable to accommodate a further valve member within the housing at a location spaced from the first valve member along the internal flow passage, wherein the further valve member contacts a further valve seat on the housing wall.
Gravity drain valve
A drain valve has a housing defining a drain conduit for the passage of fluids to be drained, the drain conduit having a first rim defining an inlet to the drain conduit opposite a second rim defining an outlet from the drain conduit. One or more non-return valves are within the drain conduit between the first rim and the second rim and have a closed configuration and an open configuration adapted to allow fluids to flow through the outlet of the drain conduit. A vent conduit extends within the drain conduit and comprises internally a lower valve seat, an upper valve seat and a bypass valve positioned between the lower valve seat and the upper valve seat. The bypass valve is adapted to allow gas to bypass the one or more non-return valves and escape to atmosphere when the gas reaches a predetermined pressure.
VALVE DEVICE
A valve device forming a ventilation flow channel of a fuel tank includes a float valve; an inside case including a valve opening relative to the float valve at an upper portion, and housing the float valve; an outside case receiving the inside case from an upper open end, and provided with a bottom portion; and an attachment portion relative to a tank side. A flow channel which becomes one portion of the ventilation flow channel is formed between a side portion of the inside case and a side portion of the outside case, and a through hole is provided in the side portion of the inside case. Furthermore, an engagement claw relative to the outside case is provided directly above the through hole.
