The present invention discloses a method and system for providing sports performance data and motion data to a user. The system comprises a wireless device with a memory unit, a communication unit, and a data processing unit. The memory unit comprises a database having a plurality of pre-programmed inputs. The communication unit comprises a location identifying device for determining the location of a user. The data processing unit comprises a sensing module with sensors to measure and determine the movement of the users in accordance with sports which is then compared with a competitor over the network. A comparing module, via a processor and communication unit, receives and compares sports performance data of the users. A ranking module, via the processor calculates and ranks a user performance in a single competition or a variety of competition and provides ranking based on the common inputs received and the calculated performance obtained.

Communication system, server, and information-processing method

Exemplary communication system 1 includes game devices 10, communication terminals 20, and game support server 30. Game devices 10 enable users to perform a multi-play activity. Each of communication terminals 20 runs an application associated with corresponding game device 10. Game support server 30 divides communication terminals 20 into separate communication groups in accordance with a situation of the multi-play activity performed by game devices 10 so that communication terminals 20 belonging to a same communication group can communicate with each other.

WIRELESS HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY WITH DIFFERENTIAL RENDERING

A method is provided, including: tracking a location of a head-mounted display (HMD); tracking a gaze of a user of the HMD; generating video depicting a view of a virtual environment for the HMD based on the gaze of the user of the HMD; initiating wireless transmission of the video to the HMD for display on the HMD to the user, wherein initiating the wireless transmission includes setting a beamforming of a wireless transceiver towards the location of the head-mounted display; processing signal quality feedback received from the HMD to determine a quality of the wireless transmission; responsive to a loss in the quality of the wireless transmission, then adjusting the beamforming of the wireless transceiver.

VIDEO GAME CENTER FOR A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT FACILITY
20220184501 · 2022-06-16 · ·

In the present disclosure, systems and methods are described for video gaming in a controlled environment facility. A video game server allows tenants of a controlled environment facility to play video games that are served and monitored by the video game server. In embodiments, users may initiate a game session to play games in a single player mode, competitive multiplayer or cooperative multiplayer mode depending on the game being played. The video game server maintains block lists for each user such that those users may not initiate or engage in the same game sessions with each other. In game sessions with two or more users, the video game server allows users to communicate via audio or text communications. The video game server may monitor those communications for potential security concerns. Users may also view videos of previously completed or live game sessions, subject to similar security monitoring measures.
