Diaphragm valve
A diaphragm valve has a valve body which includes at least one flow passage for fluid flow, a valve drive including a housing, and a diaphragm which can be deflected by the valve drive, in order to selectively open and close the flow passage. The rim of the diaphragm is axially clamped in a fluid-tight way between valve body and valve drive, wherein clamping of the diaphragm is effected by a screw-nut connection and the screw and the nut surround the rim of the diaphragm as seen in actuating direction of the valve drive and one of the two parts formed by screw and nut is non-rotatably provided at the valve body or at the valve drive. The other one of the two parts can be screwed in or on and additionally is rotatorily movable. The movable part is supported on the valve drive or on the valve body by an anti-friction bearing.
COMBINED ISOLATION VALVE AND CHECK VALVE WITH INTEGRAL FLOW RATE PRESSURE, AND/OR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT AND FIELD CONFIGURABILITY
The present invention allows for a combination valve in a hydronic HVAC system that functions as an isolation valve; a check valve; and as a device for measuring fluid parameters, such as flow rate, pressure, and/or temperature, and also allows for the isolation valve to be configured in the field to be mounted either in a straight 180? or an angled 90? orientation, as well as at an intermediate angle. The new combination of isolation valve, check valve, with embedded sensors for flow rate, pressure, and/or temperature measurement provides a more compact product envelope that achieves space savings, e.g., by eliminating the need for separate components in an HVAC system, such as separate isolation valves, check valves, flow meters, pressure gages, and/or thermometers.
REPLACEABLE SEAT FOR CONVERTIBLE CHECK VALVE
A replaceable seat is provided for a convertible check valve. The convertible check valve includes a first valve body section having a first passageway and a first flange, and a second valve body section having a second passageway and a second flange. The second flange is configured for connection to the first flange. The check valve also includes a flapper that moves between a closed state and an opened state. The flapper prevents flow between the first passageway and the second passageway when the flapper is in the closed state. The check valve also includes a gasket interposed between the first flange and the second flange. The gasket includes an opening to permit fluid communication between the first passageway and the second passageway and a valve seat with an integrated O-ring that is configured to contact the flapper when the flapper is in the closed state.
Modular solenoid valve kits and associated methods
Exemplary embodiments are directed to modular solenoid valve kits and associated methods, generally involving a valve body that includes a plurality of actuator section components and a plurality of head section components. The plurality of actuator section components includes a drive solenoid, a solenoid return spring, a stroke calibration collar and an actuator-to-head calibration collar. The plurality of head section components includes a needle, a stem return spring, a seal and a seat. The plurality of actuator section components and head section components are adapted to be interchanged to create a pull-through normally open valve, a pull-through normally closed valve, a push-in normally open valve and a push-in normally closed valve. That is, the kits and methods allow for modification of one valve type (e.g., a pull-through normally open valve, a pull-through normally closed valve, a push-in normally open valve and a push-in normally closed valve) into a different type.
Pressure control valve
A pressure control valve for controlling the pressure of gaseous and liquid media in pipelines, preferably in the drinking water field, containing: a main valve to which the pipeline is connected, wherein the main valve has a main valve housing, a guide cylinder, a valve element, channels for conducting the medium and a spring element, the valve element and the guide cylinder are arranged concentrically with respect to one another and the valve element is movably arranged on the guide cylinder; a control block, wherein the control block has channels for supplying the medium to the main valve and to the pilot valve; and a pilot valve for controlling the inspection pressure, wherein the pilot valve likewise has channels for guiding the medium, wherein the main valve, the control block and the pilot valve are medium-tightly interconnected by means of plug connections.
Automatic milk valve
A milking system for milking dairy animals includes a milking device, a milk line for transporting milk; a cleaning device for cleaning the milk line with a cleaning liquid; a first outlet for discharging the milk to a milk tank; a second outlet for discharging the cleaning liquid; a valve mechanism for controllably connecting the milk line to one of the first outlet and the second outlet; and a control unit for controlling the valve mechanism. The valve mechanism includes a first and a second valve, and a displacement device for displacing the first or the second valve housing between a cleaning position and a milking position.
Diaphragm valve with actuator bearing element
A diaphragm valve includes a valve body with a valve seat disposed in a valve cavity surrounding a flow passage, a diaphragm movable between a closed position in sealing engagement with the valve seat and an open position axially spaced apart from the valve seat, and an actuator including an actuator housing assembled with the valve body and an actuating arrangement axially movable within the actuator housing between a first position holding the diaphragm in the closed position and a second position permitting movement of the diaphragm from the closed position to the open position. The actuating arrangement includes an actuator stem extending through a lower bore in the actuator housing, an actuator button disposed between a lower end of the actuator stem and the diaphragm for contact with the diaphragm, and a bearing member disposed between the actuator stem and the actuator button.
Modular valve assemblies with optional swing out
Modular valve assemblies are disclosed. In embodiments the modular valve assemblies include a first frame and a second frame. The first frame includes a fluid inlet and first mount, and the second frame includes a fluid outlet and a second mount. A connection element extends between the first mount and the second mount. At least a first modular block and a second modular block are disposed on the connection element and position between the first and second frame. The first and second modular blocks may each be rotatable about the connection element between a use position and a maintenance position. In the use position, a composite flow path extends from the fluid inlet, through a first fluid flow path in the first modular block, through a second fluid flow path in the second modular block, and to the fluid outlet. Rotation of the first or second modular block to its maintenance position moves the first or second fluid flow path, respectively, out of the composite flow path.
