A valve including a valve housing through which a process medium can flow and in which a valve seat is located, which surrounds a through-flow opening and to which a valve member mounted on a spindle is assigned in such a way that the valve member can be moved by means of an actuating stroke of the spindle between a blocking position in which the valve member bears against the valve seat in a process medium-tight manner and an open position in which the valve member is raised off the valve seat, and wherein an interface for coupling a drive unit generating the actuating stroke of the spindle is provided on the valve housing, and wherein a sealing device through which the spindle passes is accommodated in the valve housing, the sealing device is accommodated in a seal cartridge which is separate from the valve housing and configured as an operational pre-assembly.

A control plate for effecting superior shut-off in a proportional control valve comprises a moveable disk-shaped element that has a flat surface, generally perpendicular to the valve axis of symmetry when closed, and translates toward or away from an orifice surrounded by a narrow lip or orifice ridge. Enhanced leak tightness in the valve shut-off condition is achieved by selectively incorporating into the control plate materials that are softer than the material comprising the orifice ridge.

VALVE DEVICE AND ELECTRIC VALVE

Provided are a valve device and an electric valve. A valve seat component comprises a valve seat sleeve and a flange portion, wherein an opening portion at the lower end of a sleeve is welded and fixed to the valve seat sleeve. The valve device further comprises a mounting block. The valve device is mounted on another component by means of the mounting block. The mounting block is further provided with a mounting hole in which part of the valve seat component is located. The diameter of at least part of the mounting hole is less than the outer diameter of the flange portion. The flange portion limits the mounting block to be separated from the valve seat component in a direction away from a coil assembly.

A method includes separately exposing selected portions of a first rigid substrate and a second rigid substrate to laser radiation, selectively etching the exposed portions of the first rigid substrate and the second rigid substrate using a chemical etchant and bonding the first rigid substrate to the second rigid substrate along a common interface to form a fluidic valve. The fluidic valve may be coupled to a fluidic haptics device, for example, which may be integrated into an artificial reality system.

Relief valves are described herein. An example relief valve includes a valve body defining a fluid passageway between an inlet and an outlet. The valve body includes a first body portion having a first side with a first opening and a second with a second opening. The second opening forms the outlet of the fluid passageway. The first body portion is constructed of a first material. The valve body also includes a second body portion coupled to the first side of the first portion. The second body portion has a channel aligned with the first opening. The second body portion forms the inlet of the fluid passageway. The second body portion is constructed of a second material having a higher temperature rating than the first material. The relief valve also includes a nozzle and a flow control member moveable.
