Plug and play tangible user interface system
Systems and methods are provided for a dynamic user interface for interacting with computer applications by a user physically manipulating interactive floor tiles. The interactive floor tiles may be networked, and may use a communication bus 204 within the network for communicating the connection status of tiles in the network and/or any user input received by one or more tiles in the network. The tile network module may communicate data to a computer via a data collection module. The data collection module may be internal or external to the computer, and may be used to translate data from one communication format to another, for example, from RS485 framework to RS232 framework. The interactive floor tiles may be configured into various shapes at any time by a user, and the changes to the tiles may be mapped to the computer application screen in real-time.
Systems and methods for sharing user inventory information to initiate a peer-to-peer exchange of a non-fungible digital asset
Systems and methods for sharing user inventory information to initiate peer-to-peer exchanges of digital assets that are usable within an online gaming platform are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive a sharing request for information regarding a first user inventory; access a blockchain to obtain asset information; transfer the asset information in response to the sharing request; receive an offer request for the transfer of ownership of a first digital asset from a first user to a second user; if the offer according to the offer request is accepted, receive a transfer request and transfer the ownership of the first digital asset as requested.
Information Processing System, Information Processing Apparatus, Computer-Readable Storage Medium Having Stored Therein Information Processing Program, and Information Processing Method
A plurality of game apparatuses function as a master, a client, and an audience. The master and the client register each other by performing therebetween an authentication process. The authentication process is not performed between the master and the audience. The audience receives a beacon from the master and registers the master in an own apparatus while the audience is not registered in the master. The master and the client execute a predetermined program, exchanging data by communicating with each other. The audience receives the data exchanged between the master and the client, and executes the predetermined program using the received data, thereby watches a game which is progressed between the master and the client, as a spectator.

Providing social network content in games
An apparatus and method for providing social network content in an online game is disclosed herein. Content is obtained from a social network site and is displayed within the game. The game also provides a mechanism for the user of the game to generate content to the posted within the social network from within the game. Such generated content is automatically posted in the social network for a recipient specified by the user.
PERSISTENT GAME SESSIONS WITH MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques for initiating direct-connection multiplayer game sessions and for resuming a previously-adjourned multiplayer game session using a stored game object representing a state of the game session. In one exemplary method, a multiplayer gaming application may be executed on a first terminal, which may be associated with a first user. The first terminal may access a game object stored on a content management server that contains data representing a state of a previously adjourned session of the multiplayer gaming application. Further, the first terminal may determine, from the game object, a second terminal associated with a second user. The first terminal may host a session between the first terminal and the second terminal. Finally, an updated game object reflecting an updated state of the session may be stored on the content management system.
BROWSER-BASED CLOUD GAMING
A method includes: receiving, from a browser executed by a client device, a request to initiate gameplay of a cloud video game; responsive to the request, transmitting to the client device a web application, and initiating execution of the cloud video game by a cloud game machine to generate a first video stream including video content of the cloud video game that is encoded in a compressed video format and encrypted; transmitting the first video stream from the cloud game machine to a streaming server; decrypting the first video stream by the streaming server to generate encoded video content; transmitting, by the streaming server, the encoded video content using a secure protocol to the web application, thereby defining a second video stream, the web application being configured to receive and process the second video stream to provide the video content of the cloud video game for rendering to a display.

NAVIGATION AND INTERACTION CONTROLS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
The techniques disclosed herein enable a user of a host computer or a user of a remote computer to locate, view, control, and modify objects of a virtual environment. Embodiments disclosed herein can include the generation of a graphical user interface providing a two-dimensional display showing objects at a predetermined elevation of a three-dimensional virtual environment. User interface controls are provided for changing the elevation of the two-dimensional display. The two-dimensional display can be updated to show different elevations as the controls are used to select a new elevation. In some embodiments, the two-dimensional display enables users to move objects of a virtual reality environment. The display can bring highlight to select objects enabling users to readily locate desired objects and locations. The features disclosed herein can be utilized by a computer hosting a virtual reality session or a remote computer operating a companion application.
Information processing system relating to content distribution, storage medium for storing program directed thereto, and information processing device
A CPU shows animation in which an introduction character appears. In succession, the CPU has a profile of the introduction character displayed. Thereafter, the CPU has a substance of a content displayed, based on a title or the like included in motion picture information downloaded from a distribution server. Namely, the CPU causes a monitor to display the introduction character (a character object) based on obtained character information and outputs information for introducing a specific content in association with the introduction character (the character object) based on obtained content information.
