VALVE, IN PARTICULAR A VACUUM VALVE
20240229969 · 2024-07-11 · ·

A valve on which a valve plate is arranged in a valve housing interior space of a valve housing and fixed to a shaft, in which the valve plate together with the shaft can be displaced back and forth in directions parallel to a shaft longitudinal axis between a closed position and an intermediate position, and by rotation of the shaft about the shaft longitudinal axis can be pivoted back and forth between the intermediate position and a maximum open position. A shaft leadthrough for sealing the shaft with respect to the valve housing has a bellows which can be expanded and pushed together in the directions parallel to the shaft longitudinal axis, a first bellows end of this bellows being fixed to the valve housing, and a shaft sealing ring in which the shaft is rotatably mounted, being arranged on a second bellows end.

Flexible stem bellow assembly

A bellows assembly mounts between a movable valve structure and a stationary valve structure of a valve assembly. The bellows assembly includes a bellows and a spacer. The bellows compresses until a gap is closed relative to the spacer. The bellows assembly bears a load through the bellows before the gap is closed, and the bellows assembly bears the load through the bellows and the spacer after the gap is closed.

VALVE APPARATUS

A rotor is placed on one axial side relative to a passage hole forming portion at an inside of a housing. A differential pressure device is placed on the one axial side relative to the rotor and has a pressure chamber. The housing has: a one-side space that is placed on the one axial side relative to the rotor; and at least one other-side space that is placed on another axial side, which is opposite to the one axial side, relative to the passage hole forming portion. The differential pressure device generates an urging force that urges the rotor against the passage hole forming portion by a differential pressure between a pressure in the pressure chamber and a pressure in the one-side space in a case where a pressure in the at least one other-side space is higher than the pressure in the one-side space.

CRYOGENIC FLUID SHUT-OFF VALVE
20250020215 · 2025-01-16 ·

Shut-off valves for cryogenic fluids are disclosed herein. A shut-off valve includes a body that defines void(s) in fluid communication with a valve inlet and a valve outlet. The shut-off valve includes a valve seat defined by the body, a housing connected to the body, and a valve spindle disposed within the housing. The valve spindle includes a seat disc configured to sealingly engage with the valve seat. The shut-off valve includes a buffer composed of a cryogenic temperature resistant material circumferentially surrounding and connected to at least a portion of the valve spindle and slidingly engaged with an internal surface of the housing. The shut-off valve includes a valve actuating member operatively connected to the valve spindle and configured to cause an axial movement of the valve spindle, the seat disc, and the buffer to control a flow of a fluid.

Cryogenic fluid shut-off valve

Shut-off valves for cryogenic fluids are disclosed herein. An example valve includes a valve body defining a flow path and a valve seat, a bonnet coupled to the valve body and defining a bonnet chamber, a plug, and a stem coupled to the plug. The stem is configured to slide to cause the plug to slide. The valve includes a spindle that includes external threads. The spindle is configured to move along a longitudinal axis of the bonnet as the spindle is rotated about the longitudinal axis via the external threads to cause the stem to slide linearly along the longitudinal axis. The valve includes a pivot ball positioned between and operatively coupled to the stem and the spindle. The pivot ball is configured to translate linear and rotational movement of the spindle into linear movement of the stem and the plug.
