A valve (1) with a valve housing (2) and valve openings (3), and with a closing element (5) and at least one valve drive (6). The valve also has two mutually opposite flanges (9, 10) each having a passage opening (11). The flanges can be moved towards and away from one another by the valve drive and are force-coupled to the closing element with respect to the movements of the closing element and in the fully opened position of the closing element are pressed against the wall regions (4) of the valve housing and thus the passage openings of the flanges connect the valve openings together. The two flanges (9, 10) each include a sequence of fingers (12) and recesses (13) arranged in between, and the fingers surround the passage openings and the fingers of the one flange engage in the respective recesses of the other flange.

Rotary actuator

A rotary actuator is connected to a device and configured to set the device in a motion. The rotary actuator has a rotary actuation system and a logic. The logic is configured such that when a movement is applied to the device independent of the rotary actuator, the logic activates the rotary actuator to: (i) move the device to at least one functional position or (ii) move the device to a starting position.

A valve comprising a valve body having an outflow pipe and comprising a valve seat which defines a first zone of the outflow pipe upstream of the valve seat and a second zone downstream of the valve seat, and a cam follower which is capable of moving with respect to the valve seat along an axis X between an open position, at least one partially open position and a closed position, and comprising a valve head which is capable of moving into abutment in a fluid-tight manner against an abutment surface of the valve seat, a rod which is fixedly joined to the valve head, in such a manner that there is defined a through-opening between a lateral surface of the rod and a corresponding internal surface of the valve seat which faces the lateral surface of the rod, characterized in that the through-opening is equal to a first value A when the cam follower is in the at least one partially open position and is equal to a second value B when the cam follower is in an open position, with B>A.

SMART DAMPING CONTROL VALVE
20250215994 · 2025-07-03 ·

A smart damping control valve having a failsafe mode is provided. The control valve includes a movable valve assembly within a valve housing. The moveable valve assembly includes a shuttle valve concentrically positioned with respect to a spool valve, with the spool valve and the shuttle valve each being axially moveable within a bore in the valve housing. The control valve includes a solenoid assembly having an electromagnetically actuated armature that varies the opening pressure of the movable valve assembly. At a first electrical current, the valve assembly provides a first opening pressure, and at a second electrical current, the valve assembly provides a second opening pressure. The valve assembly provides a third opening pressure, between the first and second opening pressures, in the absence of an electrical current to the solenoid assembly.

An aircraft fluid control valve is provided that includes a sleeve, a cap, first and second pistons, and first and second springs. The sleeve includes first and second inner chambers. Fluid inlet and outlet ports are disposed in the first sleeve wall. A high pressure reference port is in fluid communication with the base end and a low pressure reference port is in communication adjacent the cap end. The first piston has a center post, a base flange, and a piston head. The piston head is attached to the center post. The second piston (SP) has a SP center flange and a SP side wall. The SP side wall extends axially between a base end and a cap end. The first spring is disposed between the SP center flange and the cap. The second spring is disposed between the PH base flange and the SP center flange.

Pressure equalization apparatus and electrochemical system

A pressure equalization apparatus comprises a main element, a sealing device, and a connection device for connecting the main element and the sealing device. The sealing device sealingly bears against the main element when the pressure equalization apparatus is in a closed state and is fixed relative to the main element via the connection device. A fixing connection between the main element and the sealing device which is formed thereby can be released in order to unblock a fluid connection between the interior of the pressure equalization apparatus and surroundings of the pressure equalization apparatus. The connection device comprises a spring element, the spring force of which acts in particular in a direction extending crosswise to an opening direction of the pressure equalization apparatus.

VALVE FOR CONTROLLING THE FLOW OF A FLUID

A valve which includes a valve housing in which a valve member is positioned which can be positioned in a closed position and in a maximum open position as part of a lifting movement which can be caused by a drive apparatus. A spring apparatus causes the valve member to reach an intermediate open position when the drive apparatus is deactivated. The spring apparatus contains a closing spring acting in the closing direction and an opening spring acting in the opening direction, the spring forces of which are matched to one another in such a way that the intermediate open position forms a basic position of the valve.

ELECTRIC MACHINE HAVING A PASSIVE VALVE

An electric machine includes a rotor shaft having a first axial bore. A passive valve for temperature-dependent flow control of the coolant is arranged in the first axial bore. The passive valve has a valve body, a valve piston axially movable within the valve body, and a valve cap fixed to the valve piston. A first valve spring biases the valve piston and the valve cap toward a closed position of the passive valve and is arranged between the valve body and the valve piston. A second valve spring formed from a shape memory alloy is arranged between the valve body and the valve cap and expands when a limit temperature is exceeded and forces the valve cap and the valve piston into an open position of the passive valve.
