Fluid dispensing device with safety valve
11668405 · 2023-06-06 · ·

A safety valve is for controlling dispensing of a fluid flow from a conduit. A valve body forms an inlet opening of the fluid, an outlet opening of the fluid, and a main passageway for the fluid which fluidly connects the inlet opening to the outlet opening. At least one fluid relief opening fluidly communicates with the outlet opening through a valve seat. A shutter elastically cooperates with the valve seat to be biased by an elastic device to sealingly close the valve seat, and to open said seat when the pressure of the fluid in the outlet opening exceeds the force applied by said elastic device.

QUICK CONNECTOR WITH MODULAR FLOW CONTROL INSERT

An assembly, connector and process for a quick connector is disclosed that includes a receptacle having first and second interior passages including a chamber in fluid communication between the first and second passages. A flow control insert is installed in the chamber to regulate fluid flow between the first and the second passage.

VALVE DEVICE HAVING A VALVE SITTING IN A VALVE SOCKET

A valve device includes a valve socket with a valve seat having internal radius, a valve disposed in the valve socket, and a first flow channel. The valve includes a valve housing, an inlet opening, a flow opening, and a stop. The valve housing includes a first housing portion sitting in the valve seat, and a second housing portion adjoining the first housing portion. The inlet opening is formed opposite the first housing portion and the flow opening is formed on the second housing portion. The stop sits on the valve housing at the inlet opening and radially protrudes beyond the valve housing. The stop includes a radial stop dimension greater than the valve seat internal radius, the radial stop dimension being a smallest radial distance between the valve axis and an area of the stop farthest from the valve axis. The first flow channel leads to the inlet opening.

Double ported control valves for low flow rate applications

An example method includes moving a first portion of a control element and a second portion of the control element coupled to the first portion from a closed position to an intermediate position. In the closed position, the first portion being seated against a first valve seat thereby preventing flow through a first orifice and the second portion being seated against a second valve seat thereby preventing flow through a second orifice. In the intermediate position, flow through the first orifice is deterred and flow through the second orifice is permitted. The method includes moving the first portion and the second portion from the intermediate position to an open position. In the open position, the first portion being spaced from the first valve seat thereby permitting flow through the first orifice and the second portion being spaced from the second valve seat thereby permitting flow through the second orifice.

Spherical pump valve

A spherical pump valve. The valve includes a valve cage, a spring, a valve member, a valve seat, and a locking ring. The valve cage has a groove holding the spring and threads. The valve member has a stem and a trench holding the spring. The valve seat has a seating surface, threads that match the valve cage threads and upon threaded engagement secure the valve seat to the valve cage, and a channel. The locking ring is installed in the channel and secures the valve cage to the valve seat. The spring has a rate matched to the weight of the valve member and to the flow area of the valve seat. The stem guides the valve member as the stem travels through a center hole of the valve cage. Also disclosed is a pump including the valve.

Zero restriction ball valve insert, one-piece cage and assembly

An improved one-piece cage and an improved insert and their assembly create a zero-restriction fluid flow ball check valve. The improved insert for ball and seat valve comprises external screw threads on the base of the insert and have circumferentially spaced ribs extending upwards and converging towards the longitudinal axis of the insert, forming a hemi-spherical ball stop and arched side openings. The inside diameter of the insert bore is substantially equal to the ball valve diameter preventing the ball from rattling when positioned in the improved insert's passageway during the fluid flow. The outside diameter of the ribs is less than the inside diameter of the improved one-piece cage cavity producing a zero-restriction fluid flow ball check valve in comparison to the volumetric fluid flow through the annular seat. The improved cage that receives the improved insert is a one piece in construction and has internal threads that correspond to the external threads on the improved insert. The insert is assembled inside the cage using a screw thread connection and simultaneously forming a fluid seal between the insert and the cage.
