Disclosed is a fixing (1) for securing an article (21) to a surface (19). The fixing comprising a coupling arrangement (3) for coupling the fixing to an article such as cabling. Elongate members (5) extend from the coupling arrangement and are moved together to insert the fixing into a cavity (17), and spring apart to retain the fixing in the cavity. The elongate members have resiliently deformable inner formations (9). The inner formations engage with one another and resiliently deform when the elongate members are brought together, thereby increasing the pull resistance of the fixing. The inner formations are inwardly extending branches each presenting a ramped surface oriented towards the distal ends (8) of the respective elongate member, assisting in coupling an article to the fixing.

Cable holder assemblies for a solar panel system

Wire or cable holder assemblies employed in a solar power system are disclosed. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a cap and a base configured with channels. When the cap and the base are clamped to an object (e.g., a solar module frame), enclosures defined by the channels and a surface of the solar frame module are formed to hold cables. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a plunger with at least one leg and a base that includes a receptacle for receiving the plunger and a hook for holding electrical cables. A leg include a rack having teeth adapted to fall into notches or spaces formed by complementary teeth of a pawl found in the receptacle that forms a ratchet which permits insertion of the plunger into the receptacle but not an extraction. If extraction is desired, an external force may be applied to release the pawl.

The connecting device (10) comprises a flexible elongate member (20) and a clamping arrangement (18) for clamping the flexible elongate member (20) around the article (12). The clamping arrangement (18) comprises a body (22) and a clamping element (34). The clamping element (34) is movable between clamping and non-clamping positions. In the clamping position, the clamping element (34) clamps the flexible elongate member (20) to the body (22), thereby attaching the article (12) to the clamping arrangement (18). In the non-clamping position, the flexible elongate member (20) is movable through the body (22).

CONNECTING DEVICE

A connecting device (10) is disclosed for connecting an article (12) to a support (14). The connecting device (10) comprises a flexible elongate member (20) and a clamping arrangement (18) for clamping the flexible elongate member (20) around the article (12). The clamping arrangement (18) comprises a body (22) and a clamping element (34). The clamping element (34) is movable between clamping and non-clamping positions. In the clamping position, the clamping element (34) clamps the flexible elongate member (20) to the body (22), thereby attaching the article (12) to the clamping arrangement (18). In the non-clamping position, the flexible elongate member (20) is movable through the body (22).

Frame and organ holder

A frame includes a ring-shaped body part locatable to surround the periphery of an organ, and at least one tube clamp part mounted on the body part. Each tube clamp part includes a tube holder that holds a tube. The tube clamp part is mounted so as to be movable in the circumferential direction of the body part. Thus, a tube connected to the organ can be fixed at an appropriate position to the tube clamp part. This stabilizes the relative positions of the organ and the tube. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the probability of the organ becoming damaged due to a strain on the organ.

Frame and organ holder

A frame includes a ring-shaped body part locatable to surround the periphery of an organ, and at least one tube clamp part mounted on the body part. Each tube clamp part includes a tube holder that holds a tube. The tube clamp part is mounted so as to be movable in the circumferential direction of the body part. Thus, a tube connected to the organ can be fixed at an appropriate position to the tube clamp part. This stabilizes the relative positions of the organ and the tube. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the probability of the organ becoming damaged due to a strain on the organ.

Modular retainer assembly

A modular retainer assembly is presented herein. The modular retainer assembly includes a first retainer module defining a flexible first retaining finger and a second retainer module that is distinct from and joined to the first retaining module. The second retainer module defines a flexible second retaining finger. When the first and second retainer modules are mated together, the first retaining finger is arranged opposite the second retaining finger. The first and second retaining fingers are configured to receive and retain an elongate article, such as a wire cable, between them.

Modular retainer assembly

A modular retainer assembly is presented herein. The modular retainer assembly includes a first retainer module defining a flexible first retaining finger and a second retainer module that is distinct from and joined to the first retaining module. The second retainer module defines a flexible second retaining finger. When the first and second retainer modules are mated together, the first retaining finger is arranged opposite the second retaining finger. The first and second retaining fingers are configured to receive and retain an elongate article, such as a wire cable, between them.
