Spring-biased threaded rod clamp
A spring-biased clamp includes a threaded rod; a load assembly mounted to a first end of the rod; a stop disk mounted to the second end; and a jaw assembly near the second end. The jaw assembly includes opposing jaws hinged together. The jaw assembly travels on the threaded rod. A method of suspending a load includes raising the clamp towards a ceiling structure; applying force to press the first and second jaws against an attachment point, spreading them; advancing the jaws until the torsion spring draws them together; and rotating the threaded rod until the stop disk contacts the attachment point. A weighted load is then attached to the load assembly. Loads can be quickly and safely secured with the clamp to the ceiling structure from the ground without elevating the installer.
ADJUSTABLE BRACKET AND HUB FOR FLEXIBLE HOSE SUPPORT
An adjustable bracket includes a first bracket portion with a first leg and a first bar element, a second bracket portion with a second leg and a second bar element, and a hub assembly supported on at least one of the first and second bracket portions. The hub assembly can be configured to couple a flexible hose to the adjustable bracket. The first bar element can be telescopically received by the second bar element so that a distance between the first and second legs is selectively adjustable. A fastener can fix the first and second bar elements in a desired relationship. The hub assembly can include first and second support members that are pivotably connected to rotate between open and closed positions. The second support member may have a slot that allows the second support member to rotate and move laterally with respect to the first support member.
BRACKET FOR FLEXIBLE HOSE
Systems and methods herein are directed to a bracket assembly. The bracket assembly can include a first bracket portion, a second bracket portion, or a sliding mechanism. The first bracket portion can include a first end with a first protruding portion, a second protruding portion, and an opening that extends between the first and second protruding portions, or a second end. The opening can receive a portion of a flexible hose assembly. The second end can receive a portion of a lateral support bar. The second bracket portion can be slidably coupled with the first bracket portion through the sliding mechanism by a pin. The sliding mechanism can include an aperture to receive the pin. The sliding mechanism can move in a lateral direction between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion of the first end of the first bracket portion about the pin within the aperture.
Modular pipe rack system
An apparatus for supporting one or more pipes is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first tower, a second tower, and each tower includes four vertical columns, and a first set of horizontal beams. Each beam is configured to span and connect two of the vertical columns via biaxial moment connecting collars. The towers are aligned to support a first pipe on beams from both towers along a primary pipe support axis, and none of the columns in the first tower is connected to a column of the second tower by a biaxial moment connecting collar.
FASTENING SYSTEM FOR FASTENING AN OBJECT TO A SUPPORT AND AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SUCH SYSTEM
A fastening system for fastening an object to a support, comprising a first fastening element and a second fastening element placed on either side of the support, and fasteners for fastening the object, the fasteners fastened to one of the fastening elements. The fastening system comprises an element, such as an elastic element, which is integrally fixed to the fastening elements and/or a lock integrally fixed to the fastening elements. Also an aircraft with such a fastening system.
SYSTEM OF S-SHAPED CONDUIT MOUNTING ASSEMBLY HOOKS
A method and assembly for mounting a conduit on a mounting surface utilizing a conduit mounting assembly. The conduit mounting assembly includes a first clamp portion, a second clamp portion, a connecting screw and a conduit securement screw. The method includes providing the conduit mounting assembly, mounting the first clamp portion on a tile, mounting the second clamp portion opposite to the first clamp portion on the tile, connecting the first clamp portion with the second clamp portion utilizing the connecting screw and mounting the conduit on the second clamp portion utilizing the conduit securement screw and a conduit fastening member.
