System and method for sealing wires, cables, pipes and drain holes through buffer
A sealing set may be used for sealing and draining a liquid and may comprise a check valve and a mating press unit. When the check valve and the mating press unit may be separated, the check valve may be sealed and may prevent flow of liquid or gas from the first end to the second opening, and when the mating press may be pressed against the check valve so that the third end is inserted into the second end, a flow of liquid or gas may be opened between the two ends. The check valve may comprise a hollow elongated cylinder; a sealing gasket; and a mass and a pressing means configured to press the mass against the sealing gasket for sealing an end. The press unit may comprise a second hollow elongated cylinder and may include one or more holes on the third end perimeter.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, PLATE FOR USE WITH SUCH AN ASSEMBLY AND A COOLING SYSTEM INCLUDING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a connector assembly including a plate (10) having an orifice (10a) and a spigot (12), said spigot (12) having an internal flow path for liquid, and connector means (14) for connecting the spigot (12) to the metal plate (10) so as to guide the liquid flowing in the flow path through said orifice (10a), said connector means (14) including a protruding collar structure (16) surrounding said orifice (10a).
It is proposed that the connector means (14) further includes a ring-shaped snap-on module (18) configured to be fitted over the collar structure (16), said snap-on module (18) including a cylindrical insertion part (18a) configured to be inserted into an orifice (10a) of said collar structure (16), wherein a remote end of the cylindrical insertion part (18a) in the insertion direction is provided with first snap-on structures engaging with the collar structure (16).
CONNECTOR SOCKET, CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, COOLING PLATE AND COOLING SYSTEM INCLUDING A CONNECTOR SOCKET
The invention relates to a connector socket for connecting a spigot (12) to an orifice (10a), said connector socket including a sheet metal plate (10) with said orifice (10a) and a protruding collar structure (16) surrounding said orifice (10a).
It is proposed that the collar structure (16) is integrally made of the sheet metal of said sheet metal plate (10) by a sheet metal forming process.
Transport element support assembly
A transport element support assembly comprises a front plate, a back plate, and a grommet. The front plate has a first opening and a first set of holes. The back plate has a second opening and a second set of holes. A chamber is formed by the first opening and the second opening and is configured to hold a transport element. The grommet is positioned within the chamber. The transport element support assembly formed by the front plate, the back plate, and the grommet is configured to provide electrical isolation between the transport element and an aircraft structure.
APPARATUS FOR PATIENT WARMING
An apparatus for facilitating delivery of conditioned air across a barrier in a cage for holding an animal patient to a blanket arrangement providing the conditioned air to the patient. The apparatus comprising a first duct part, a second duct part and a mounting mechanism arranged to mount the first duct part on one side of the barrier and the second duct part on the other side of the barrier opposite thereto, to provide a duct for ducting conditioned air across the barrier. The barrier comprising bars or mesh, and the apparatus further comprising a seal arrangement to provide at least a partial seal across the bars or mesh. The mounting mechanism comprises a fastening mechanism for fastening the first and second duct parts to each other across the barrier, wherein the fastening mechanism is a keyhole-style fastening arrangement utilising a plurality of headed projections on a flange of the first duct part engagable with respective keyhole-style apertures on a flange of the second duct part.
Sub-sea connector
A coupler assembly (60) for a sub-sea connector including a coupler (18) having an abutment (76) radially outwardly from the coupler body (64), and a radially inwardly extending groove (78) in the coupler body that is longitudinally spaced apart from the abutment. The abutment (76) is configured to engage the rear side of the plate when the coupler is inserted through a rearward opening in the plate. The groove (78) may be longitudinally spaced apart from the abutment such that, when the abutment is engaged with the rear of the plate, the groove is positioned forwardly of the front side of the plate sufficiently to allow a portion of a mounting ring (82) to be inserted into the groove with a portion of the mounting ring protruding radially outwardly from the body to engage an abutment surface at the front side of the plate, thereby restricting axial movement of the body relative to the plate.
Apparatus for different sized boxes
An electrical box for accommodating at least one duplex electrical outlet including a first side, a second side having a mount opening therein. The electrical box also includes a mounting tube. The mounting tube is mountable to the mount opening. The mounting tube further includes first tubular member having a first length, and a second member fittable within the first tubular member. The second member further includes a tubular main body including a tubular portion fittable within the first tubular member, and a first end including a stop. The first end and stop engage the mount opening in the second side.
VACUUM INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY WITH SLIDING PINS
A locking sleeve for connection with a valve box assembly of a central vacuum system includes, a first end adapted to couple to a wall of a valve box assembly, a second end opposite the first end, a central vertical axis between the first end and the second end, a first side adapted to be adjacent to a rear wall of a valve box assembly, a second side opposite the first side, a central horizontal axis between the first side and the second side, a slidable locking mechanism moveable in a sliding manner. The slidable locking mechanism is adapted to secure a vacuum hose assembly to the valve box assembly of the central vacuum system.
FIREFIGHTING ACCESSORY AND METHOD THEREFOR
A firefighting accessory is provided for use in fighting a fire through an aperture in a bulkhead. The firefighting accessory includes a securing arrangement and a connector. The securing arrangement is for securing the firefighting accessory through the aperture in the bulkhead. The connector is for connecting a source of fire extinguishing agent. The firefighting accessory is configured for guiding a flow of firefighting agent through the aperture to fight the fire in operation. The securing arrangement preferably includes a barb arrangement with expandable barbs that can move between a retracted position and a deployed position. While the barbs are in their retracted position, the firefighting accessory can be inserted through the aperture in the bulkhead. A tensioning arrangement then secures the barbs against an inner surface of the compartment that the fire is in.
Connection arrangement
A connection arrangement includes a first and a second assembly, and an elastically deformable locking element disposed on the first assembly. The locking element is configured to releasably interlock the two assemblies and, during mounting of the two assemblies, to deform into a mounting condition and, after completion of the mounting, to form an undercut which counteracts detachment of the two assemblies. The first assembly has a stop which is movable between an operative position, which assists in maintaining the undercut of the locking element and in which the locking element bears against the stop and/or in which the locking element is deformable against the stop, and a detachment position, in which the stop, in relation to the operative position, is spaced further apart from the locking element and in which the locking element is deformable into a detachment condition for detachment of the two assemblies.
