The second part can include a second body configured to be disposed in a second portion of the opening in the panel, a second lumen disposed within the second body, and a second engagement area configured to engage the first contact area, wherein engaging the first contact area with the second engagement area causes deformation of the first part, the second part, or both to hold the first part and the second part within the opening such that the first lumen and the second lumen are disposed generally concentrically with each other. Corresponding methods are also disclosed.

CABLE/LINE LEAD-IN

A cable/line lead-in has at least one insertion sleeve and/or an intermediate connecting piece, which has a contact flange protruding radially outward at least at points. Furthermore, the cable/line lead-in has a clamping part which is detachably placeable on a connecting section of the insertion sleeve in the direction of the contact flange, wherein insertion sleeve and clamping part can be assembled from at least two individual elements divided essentially in the axial direction and guide and/or positioning means are arranged along corresponding partition edges of the individual elements for the assembly thereof accurately in position. To improve a cable/line lead-in of this type such that it implements a corresponding protection class and enables a secure and fixed connection of the corresponding individual elements, in particular protection class, the guide and/or positioning means on opposing partition edges are formed as interlocking guide and/or positioning means and the cable/line lead-in is usable in regions at risk of explosion.

CABLE/LINE INSERTION

A cable/line insertion is used to insert and thread at least one line into and through a wall opening into a housing wall. The insertion comprises an insertion sleeve for inserting into the wall opening, a pressing flange which projects substantially radially outwards from same, in places, and a clamping part which in particular can be screwed in the direction of the pressing flange onto the insertion sleeve, and a fastening section of the insertion sleeve, which is arranged opposite the clamping part. The fastening section comprises a contact surface which projects at least in places substantially radially outwards, which contact surface can be engaged from behind by a plug part for pressing the pressing flange to an opening edge of the wall opening.

Push Through Grommet

Embodiments of a grommet are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the grommet includes a grommet body having a main body portion, a flange, and an installation extension, an outer surface of the flange at least partially defining a recess, the installation extension connected to the main body portion within the recess and extending at least partially out of the recess, the grommet body having a passage passing therethrough.

The specification discloses a fastener assembly including two elements. One element is an elongated body including that a gear rack and a radial stop. The other element is a nut fitted over the elongated body and including a pawl engaging the gear rack. The current embodiment includes two pairs of gear racks and two pairs of pawls. The two pairs of pawls are axially offset from one another. The elongated body and the nut are keyed to prevent relative rotation therebetween. The elongated body defines a conduit through the fastener assembly.

Two-part snap-together feedthroughs

A feedthrough for feeding signals through a panel having opposite sides includes first and second parts. The first part can include a first body configured to be disposed in a first portion of an opening in a panel, a first lumen disposed within the first body, and a first engagement area comprising a first contact area.

Grommets for supporting harnesses and systems and methods including the same are disclosed herein. The grommets include a grommet body, a resilient cushion, and a retention mechanism. The grommet body is configured to be received within an aperture that is defined by a structural component and defines a tubular receiving region that is sized to receive the harness. The resilient cushion is located within the tubular receiving region and is configured to extend between the harness and the grommet body. The retention mechanism is configured to selectively retain the grommet body within the aperture. The methods include locating the resilient cushion around an external surface of the harness, locating a first body portion and a second body portion around an external surface of the resilient cushion, and operatively interlocking the first body portion with the second body portion to form the grommet body.
