EXTREME HIGH-TEMPERATURE RESISTANT MULTILAYERED DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID TUBING
A tubing to supply diesel exhaust fluid to an exhaust system of a diesel engine includes an inner layer made of a first material and an outer layer made of a second material. The first material includes polyethersulfone polymer or polyphenylene sulfide. The second material includes a polyamide or polyphthalamide. An outer surface of the inner layer and an inner surface of the outer layer include a reactive material that facilitates bonding between the inner layer and the outer layer of the tubing.
Layered body and tube
A laminate including: (A) a layer containing a perfluororesin, (B) a layer containing a polymer having a chlorotrifluoroethylene unit, and (C) a layer containing a non-fluorinated polymer. Also disclosed is a tube including the laminate.
ANTI-HYDROGEN EMBRITTLEMENT WIRE REINFORCED COMPOSITE PIPE
Method, devices, and systems for transporting high pressure hydrogen over long distance using anti-hydrogen embrittlement wire reinforced composite pipes are provided. In one aspect, an anti-hydrogen embrittlement wire reinforced composite pipe includes a plastic outer layer, a plastic inner layer, and a wire winding layer. The plastic inner layer is provided in the plastic outer layer, and materials of the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer are a thermoplastic material. The wire winding layer is provided between the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer and bonded with the plastic inner layer and the plastic outer layer by a hot melt adhesive. The wire winding layer is formed by a plurality of wires spirally wound in left rotation or right rotation.
MULTILAYER TUBE FOR AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS
A multilayer tube is provided for use in with transmission oil or heating and cooling fluid applications in motor vehicles. The multilayer tube has an outer layer comprising an aliphatic or an aromatic polyamide to provide protection from the outside environment; a middle layer of a lower cost material that comprises from 20-90% of the thickness of the tube materials; and an inner layer that has excellent resistance to transmission oil or glycol coolant and temperature.
MULTILAYER TUBE
A multilayer tube which includes, in succession from inside outward: an inner layer constituted by a tubular sheath which defines a passage duct for a fluid and is corrugated at least externally, thus defining troughs, a protective layer for the inner layer and which follows its corrugated shape, and a helix wound on the protective layer and positioned on a bottom of the troughs, and an outer layer, in which the helix is embedded.
Insulating inserts for field joints of coated rigid pipelines
An insulating insert is positioned around a field joint of a pipeline to insulate the field joint. The insert comprises a longitudinal series of annular or part-annular filler segments of insulating material, curved about a longitudinal axis, that are each joined to one or more adjacent segments of the series by at least one link. The links may be webs, rods or articulated links. The links are flexible relative to the segments to facilitate bending of the insert along its length by enabling relative angular displacement between adjacent segments of the series.
AIRCRAFT AIR DUCT PIPE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PIPE COUPLING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAID PIPE
A pipe of an air duct comprising, from the interior toward the exterior, an internal layer, at least one insulating intermediate layer, an external layer and at least at one of its ends a pipe coupling distinct from the internal layer including a first end section that cooperates with the internal layer in sealed manner and a second end section not covered by any of the layers that is configured to cooperate with a connection system. Thus, no clamp of a connection system exerts compression forces on the internal layer of the pipe, which consequently is not necessarily reinforced by means of fibers.
Multilayer motor vehicle pipeline
Multilayer motor vehicle tube for conducting at least one fluid medium, wherein the tube comprises a fluid duct and a tube wall that surrounds the fluid duct. The tube wall is multilayered and comprises at least three layers, specifically having the following layer composition. An external layer is provided that consists of at least one polyamide, in particular of at least one aliphatic polyamide. Furthermore, an adhesion-promoting layer is provided and an internal layer consisting of at least one thermoplastic elastomer. The overall layer thickness d of the tube wall is from 0.3 to 3.0 mm.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE MITIGATION TUBING
An electrostatic discharge tubing segment includes a porous non-conductive interior surface and an adjacent conductive polymer portion. The conductive polymer portion is configured to transfer electrostatic charge generated by a charged fluid passing through the tubing segment to ground such that electrostatic discharge can be mitigated.
