RADIAL COMPRESSION PACKAGING OF A FLEXIBLE DUCT
A system for packing and assembling a flexible duct that includes a sleeve. The sleeve includes a tubular vapor barrier and an insulating layer within the vapor barrier and includes a central cavity. Further, the sleeve is radially compressed and rolled along an axial direction. The system also includes an air core sized to fit within the central cavity of the insulating layer. The air core includes a sheet that blocks fluid flow therethrough and a structural support coiled within the sheet and the air core is flattenable and not within the rolled sleeve.
Fuel system including reinforced fuel connector with retaining rings
A fuel connector of a fuel system is adapted to flow fuel, and includes male and female components. The male component includes a plurality of barbs each projecting radially outward, spaced axially from one-another and being circumferentially continuous. The female component includes a plurality of reinforcement rings being in a predefined axial relationship to the respective plurality of barbs when connected.
Woven Irrigation Tubing, Apparatus and Method of Making Same
Woven irrigation tubing comprising a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.

Micro-layer tubular extrusion products
A system and method are presented in which a flow of plastic is extruded to obtain nano-sized features by forming multiple laminated flow streams, flowing in parallel through the non-rotating extrusion system. Each of the parallel laminated flow streams are subjected to repeated steps in which the flows are compressed, divided, and overlapped to amplify the number of laminations. The parallel amplified laminated flows are rejoined to form a combined laminated output with nano-sized features. The die exit is formed to provide a tubular shape.
Flexible hose with helical stiffener
A flexible hose assembly includes a length of tubular hose formed from a spiral-wrapped layer of polymer material. A helical stiffener is disposed on an outer surface of the tubular hose. The helical stiffener comprises an elastomer material that is configured to bond or adhere to the polymer material of the tubular hose.
High pressure hose
A high pressure hose with a reinforcing steel cord having twisted steel filaments. A first condition is a condition in which a winding direction of a steel cord in an N.sup.th (N≥1) steel cord reinforced layer and in an (N+1).sup.th steel cord reinforced layer are different, and a winding direction of a steel cord in a first steel cord reinforced layer (11a) and a twisting direction of an outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer (11a) are different. A second condition is a condition in which the twisting direction of the outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer (11a) and of an outermost layer steel filament in a steel cord in a second steel cord reinforced layer (11b) are identical. The first condition and second condition are not simultaneously satisfied.

RUBBER AND HYDRAULIC HOSE COMPRISING A INNER TUBE MADE OF THE RUBBER MATERIAL
A curing composition for rubber includes: a metallic co-agent selected from the group consisting of zinc diacrylate and zinc methacrylate; organic peroxide; sulfur; and a hydrotalcite compound. The curing composition and a rubber matrix can be used to make an uncured rubber composition. A cured rubber is obtainable by curing the uncured rubber composition.
