A faucet includes a base configured to attach to a support, an outlet for dispensing a fluid, an articulable spout including a plurality of segments operatively coupled together sequentially between the base and the outlet and configured to rotate relative to one another to transition the articulable spout between a first position and a second position, and an actuator operatively coupled to at least two segments of the plurality of segments and configured to rotate the at least two segments in opposite rotational directions.

Flexible drain line assembly
10119256 · 2018-11-06 ·

A flexible drain line assembly for seamlessly connecting a sink to a waste line includes a tube that has a first end and a second end. The first end and the second end are configured to fluidically couple to a waste line and a tailpiece of a sink, respectively. The tube is configured to drain waste water from the sink to the waste line. The tube is flexible to position the first end proximate to the waste line and the second end proximate to the tailpiece. A section of the tube that is positioned proximate to the first end is configured to be curvedly bent below the waste line. A retainer is configured to couple to the tube to fixedly position the section of the tube to defines a trap. The trap is configured to retain liquid to deter passage of gas from the waste line to the sink.

Non-metallic vertebrae bend restrictor and vertebrae end piece

A non-metallic clip connection system includes a non-metallic clip having a substantially rectangular base portion, a first longitudinal flared wing portion, and a second longitudinal flared wing portion, wherein a plurality of edges of the clip along a path of insertion are beveled or radiused. The non-metallic clip connection system also includes a first non-metallic member having a first portion of a non-metallic clip receiver and a second non-metallic member having a second portion of the non-metallic clip receiver. The first non-metallic member is secured to the second non-metallic member by inserting the non-metallic clip in the non-metallic clip receiver. A non-metallic vertebrae bend restrictor and a non-metallic vertebrae end piece may use a non-metallic clip connection system.

Method of determining deformation in a structure
10067013 · 2018-09-04 · ·

A method of determining deformation in a structure around which a sensing optical fiber is helically wound, includes performing a distributed measurement at a point along the fiber, to obtain a frequency gain spectrum at that point. Performing a distributed measurement includes, adjusting a pulse width of a pulse pump signal to achieve a predefined spatial resolution and providing the pulse pump signal with adjusted pulse width in the fiber to generate scattering, which is used to obtain the frequency gain spectrum. Identifying at least two curves which, when added together, best fit the frequency gain spectrum. Identifying the frequency at which peaks of the curves occur. Determining deformation in the structure by determining deformation in the fiber at the point using a frequency at which a peak of an identified curve occurs. The amount of deformation in the fiber corresponds to the amount of deformation in the structure.
