PIPE, PIPE CONNECTION AND PIPELINE SYSTEM
A pipeline system is enclosed including unlined or plastic lined pipes. A mechanical metal to metal connection is employed that can provide a fluid tight seal. A pipe coupling may be employed to span the connection. Plastic lined pipes can have their plastic liners connected to form a fluid tight bladder. Electro fusion may be employed.
Clamping ring, sliding sleeve, arrangement, and method for producing a non-releasable connection
A clamping ring for a non-releasable workpiece connection includes an inner circumferential surface, an outer circumferential surface, a proximal end, and a distal end, said inner circumferential surface having a cylindrical design in at least some sections. A sliding sleeve for a non-releasable workpiece connection includes an inner circumferential surface, an outer circumferential surface, a proximal end, and a distal end. An arrangement for producing a non-releasable workpiece connection and a method for producing a non-releasable workpiece connection are provided.
Pressing Sleeve, Press Fitting and Use of the Press Fitting or the Pressing Sleeve
The invention relates to a press sleeve for a press fitting for producing a sealing non-detachable pipe connection, with a receiving portion (4) for receiving a fitting basic body (6) and with a press portion (8), wherein the inside diameter of the receiving portion (4) is adapted to the outside diameter of the fitting basic body (6) and wherein the inside diameter of the press portion (8) is designed to be smaller than the outside diameter of the fitting basic body (6) at least in certain sections. The press sleeve is distinguished by the fact that at least one retaining lug (10) which can be clamped resiliently inwards in the radial direction (R) is provided in the receiving portion (4) and that the retaining lug (10) has a free end portion (12) which, with the retaining lug (10) in the stress-relieved state, protrudes at least partially into the inner region of the receiving portion (4) in the radial direction (R).
Fitting with a Coating, Pipeline System and Use of the Fitting or of the Pipeline System
A fitting for a sealing, non-releasable pipe connection, including a main fitting body for accommodating at least one pipe which is to be connected, and at least one pressing sleeve. The main fitting body and the pressing sleeve have pressing surfaces, which are assigned to one another. The main fitting body has a pressing surface which, in the installed state, is directed towards the pipe which is to be connected, and is assigned to a peripheral region of the main fitting body. The pressing surfaces assigned to one another on the main fitting body and on the pressing sleeve are formed such that the action of pushing the pressing sleeve axially onto the main fitting body gives rise to the peripheral region of the main fitting body being narrowed radially.
FLUID SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE VIA FRICTION WELDING
A method of friction welding a workpiece to a fluid element includes the step of placing a workpiece weld surface in contact with a fluid element weld surface. The workpiece weld surface is driven in a predetermined pattern along the fluid element weld surface. Pressure is applied between the workpiece weld surface and the fluid element weld surface to produce friction and heat sufficient to raise the temperature of the weld surfaces to welding temperature. A weld bond is formed by stopping the driving of the workpiece weld surface while applying the pressure between the weld surfaces. Before and/or after the weld bond is formed, at least a portion of the workpiece is machined to form at least a portion of a fluid fitting configured to receive and sealingly attach to a pipe in a non-leaking manner to convey a flow of fluid therethrough.
Electro-fusion may be employed.
Pipe Connector for Tightly Connecting Two Pipe Ends, Use Thereof and Method
A pipe connector for tightly connecting a first pipe end to a second pipe end, with a sleeve-like base body which has a first receptacle for inserting a first pipe end and a second receptacle for inserting a second pipe end, with first retaining elements in the area of the first receptacle, which are designed to fixate a first pipe end inserted into the first receptacle in the first receptacle after the pipe connector has been pressed. The second retaining elements in the area of the second receptacle, which are designed to fixate a second pipe end inserted into the first receptacle after the pipe connector has been pressed. One or more bridge retaining elements are provided, wherein a bridge retaining element extends in each case from the area of the first receptacle to the area of the second receptacle and forms at least one of the first retaining elements and at least one of the second retaining elements. The invention further relates to a use of the pipe connector and to a method for tightly connecting a first pipe end to a second pipe end.
Pipe Connector for Tightly Connecting Two Pipe Ends, Use Thereof and Method
The invention relates to a pipe connector for tightly connecting a first pipe end to a second pipe end, with a sleeve-like base body which has a first receptacle for inserting a first pipe end and a second receptacle for inserting a second pipe end, with first retaining elements in the area of the first receptacle, which are designed to fixate a first pipe end inserted into the first receptacle in the first receptacle after the pipe connector has been pressed, and with second retaining elements in the area of the second receptacle, which are designed to fixate a second pipe end inserted into the first receptacle after the pipe connector has been pressed, wherein the base body is formed from a plurality of base body segments arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction. The invention further relates to a use of the pipe connector and to a method for tightly connecting a first pipe end to a second pipe end.
FLUID CONNECTOR WITH PRE-POSITIONED CRIMPING COLLAR
A fluid connection set includes a connector (1), a flexible hose (2), and a crimping collar (5) for fixing the front end of the flexible hose to the connector, the connector including a connector body (10), a tubular nozzle (3), the tubular nozzle including retaining radial projections (31) of the hose as well as a clamping area (30) of the hose, and a temporary accommodation space (4), arranged between the tubular nozzle (3) and the connector body (10), for housing the collar during the operation of inserting the flexible tube, after which the collar is moved with respect to the clamping area and then crimped.
PIPE END FORMING METHODS AND PIPE CLAMP
Methods for forming a pipe end for a pipe having an inner surface lined with a liner are provided, wherein the pipe is cut at an axial location to provide a first end having an initial inner diameter defined by an inner surface of the pipe; and a length of the pipe is expanded from the first end to form an upset, bell end where an inner diameter of the upset, bell end is larger than the initial diameter, thereby defining an annulus between the inner surface of the pipe and the liner. A clamp for limiting a pipe's movement during various operations is also provided.
