Thread protector assembly for threads of a tubular
A thread protector assembly has an outer sleeve and a cap having a portion positioned interior of the outer sleeve. The portion of the cap is adapted to engage with a threaded surface of a tubular. The cap has an end exposed outwardly of the outer surface. The outer sleeve is freely rotatable or swivelable relative to the cap. The outer sleeve is in snap-fit relationship with said cap. The outer sleeve has an upset at one end thereof that overlies the outer diameter of the shoulder of the tubular.

A hydraulic connector for removably joining together a first and a second piece of a tube of a hydraulic system of a bicycle includes a tubular sleeve extending along a middle axis, a first area of the tubular sleeve to be fixed to the first piece of tube, and a second area of the tubular sleeve to be fixed to the second piece of tube. The hydraulic connector also includes a first tubular segment and a second tubular segment. Both of the tubular segments extend along the middle axis and have an internal diameter adapted for receiving the pieces of tube to be joined. The hydraulic connector also includes a first hollow screw, in screwing engagement with the first area of the tubular sleeve, and the first tubular segment is formed in the first hollow screw. The tubular sleeve and the first hollow screw, in every section thereof along the middle axis, have an internal diameter equal to or greater than the internal diameter of the tubular segments.
Tight-seal piping component
Example aspects of a tight-seal piping component, a tight-seal piping assembly, and a method for preventing leaking in a piping assembly are disclosed. The tight-seal piping component can comprise a fitting body defining a fitting inner surface, a fitting outer surface opposite the fitting inner surface, a first fitting end, and a second fitting end opposite the first fitting end, the fitting inner surface defining: an interior channel defining a fitting axis; a seal stop surface within the interior channel; and internal threading between first fitting end and the seal stop surface, the internal threading defining straight threading extending in a direction about perpendicular to the fitting axis; and a seal received within interior channel and abutting seal stop surface.
Thread Connection for a Torch System
A connector component configured for coupling a consumable component to a plasma arc torch is provided. The connector component comprises a body having a proximal end and a distal end disposed along and defining a longitudinal axis. The connector component includes at least two engagement regions disposed radially about the longitudinal axis on a surface of the body. Each engagement region includes at least one engagement feature disposed on the surface of the body. The connector component also includes at least two free regions disposed radially about the longitudinal axis on the surface of the body. Each free region is radially located between a pair of the engagement regions and characterized by an absence of the engagement feature.
Tube coupling device having valve member
A tube coupling device having a check valve contains: a coupling body and a valve assembly. The coupling body includes a tubular member and a circular connecting seat, the tubular member is hollow to flow water, and the coupling body also includes an isolation sleeve for covering on an inner wall of the tubular member, such that the isolation sleeve separates the water from the tubular member, and the isolation sleeve has a flow channel for flowing the water. The locking set is disposed between the tubular member and the isolation sleeve and includes a protruded rib extending inwardly around the tubular member and retained between the isolation sleeve and the tubular member. The locking set also includes a retaining groove formed on the isolation sleeve and retaining with the protruded rib, and the retaining groove engages with the protruded rib and covers three sides of the protruded rib.
A JOINT BOX OF FLEXIBLE LONG-LENGTH TUBES
This invention relates to releasable couplings for long lengths of tube and rod, in particular for coupling long-length flexible tubes, long-length flexible rod, and also for boring and casing pipes, production tubing and collapsible pipelines. The present releasable coupling for flexible long-length tubes comprises threaded nipples, mounted on the ends of tubes to be connected, and a threaded sleeve, wherein the thread on the two nipples has a different pitch and the threaded sleeve has two threaded portions for mutual coupling thereof, and wherein the nipple with the larger pitch is provided with a runout in the form of a cylindrical groove or non-threaded portion, the length of which together with the distance of approach of the tubes is greater than the length of the larger-pitch thread on the sleeve. The result is an increase in the reliability, durability and tightness of the coupling.
Threaded connections with an adjustable secondary shoulder
A tubular threaded connection includes a threaded sub-assembly having a first tubular member, a first torque member threadingly received on the first tubular member, and a second torque member threadingly received on the first tubular member. In forming the threaded sub-assembly, the first torque member is torqued relative to the second torque member. Furthermore, the sub-assembly is configured to receive a second tubular member for torqueing against the sub-assembly.
Leak proof threaded connector
A threaded connection for pipe or tubulars used in drill strings, casing, or production tubing. The threaded connection can have a box connector with box threads having a plurality of box thread teeth and a pin member with pin threads having a plurality of pin thread teeth. The teeth can have a crest, a load flank, a stab flank and a root. A restriction can be between the pin member and the box connector on the stab flank, wherein the restriction does not touch the pin member, and the restriction forms a first channel and a second channel for containing a thread sealing compound.
Metal tubular connecting part and method for obtaining such a part by additive manufacturing
A metal tubular connecting part includes a total axial length, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The inner and outer surfaces delimit a wall, an outer transition surface, and an inner transition surface. The outer transition surface and the inner transition surface delimit a transition thickness of the wall.
