PIPE COUPLING
A piping element assembly includes a coupling body and at least one gasket, the coupling body defining an interior cavity, the interior cavity in contact with the at least one gasket, the piping element assembly adapted for sealably connecting two lengths of pipe by insertion of the pipe lengths within the interior cavity and sealed by the at least one gasket.
Method of manufacturing a unitary gasket using two rubber materials of different hardness
Pipe joints and more particularly circular push-on type pipe joints including a flexible gasket having both hard and soft portions and where the soft portion overlaps a flange and an inner curved section of the hard portion.

Pressure-Energized Probe Seal for Female Hydraulic Coupling Member
A probe seal for a female hydraulic coupling member has both internal and external pressure-energized seals. The outer wall or opposing ends of the seal have one or more pressure-energized seals for sealing between the body of the probe seal and the body of a coupling member in which the probe seal is installed. Annular, L-shaped, T-shaped or angled grooves in the inner wall of the seal form cavities and sealing projections that can be urged in an inward, radial direction by fluid pressure within an associated cavity to increase the sealing effectiveness between the body of the seal and the probe of a male hydraulic coupling member inserted in the receiving chamber of the female coupling member.
Fitting assembly comprising a socket and an interchangeable ring
A coupling assembly comprising a socket (10) and an interchangeable ring mounted in the free end of the socket. The ring includes a ring body extending axially between a first, inner face (31) and a second, outer face (32) on the free end of the socket. The ring comprises an external seal (40) on the ring body provided in compression in the socket between the ring and the socket, and an internal seal for sealing between the ring and a pipe to be inserted, the internal seal having a lip which extends between an anchoring end on the second outer face and a free end.
Pipe joint
An annular sealing material seals a pipe joint between a socket and a spigot. The sealing material includes a bulb part which is composed of a first bulb, a second bulb located closer to the inner side of the socket than the first bulb, and a narrow part present between the first and second bulbs. The first bulb is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the socket. The second bulb is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The second bulb is inclined towards the pipe center from the first bulb in a natural state before it is provided between the socket and the spigot. The inner diameter of the second bulb is smaller than the outer diameter of the spigot in the natural state. The second bulb is extensible in the pipe diameter direction due to elastic deformation of the narrow part.
Seal holding device for pipe clamp
A pipe clamp including an annular clamp housing having an opening for inserting therein a pipe, opposing clamp members located near ends of the annular clamp housing, one or more tightening elements for fastening and tightening the clamp members towards each other in a direction transverse to an axial length of the annular clamp housing, and an annular seal placed in an inner perimeter of the annular clamp housing, wherein one portion of the annular seal is attached to the annular clamp housing with one or more mechanical fasteners and another portion of the annular seal is slidingly attached to the annular clamp housing with one or more mechanical fasteners so that the annular seal is permitted to move and expand radially about as the pipe clamp is tightened by one or more tightening elements.
DEVICE FOR COUPLING A RIGID MALE ENDPIECE TO A FLEXIBLE FEMALE PIPE, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
The invention relates to a fluid-transfer coupling device designed to couple a rigid male endpiece (30) to a flexible female pipe (20) and to the production method therefor. The device comprises: a sleeve (10) for gripping around the pipe and locking the endpiece, the sleeve having a radially inner part (18) surrounding an annular sealing lining (50) mounted in abutment on the endpiece; and a metal socket (40) having a tubular portion (41) gripped by the pipe and ending in a collar formed by a radial step (43) which extends in an axial end (44) and has a radial height, the axial end being mounted inside and in contact with the radially inner part and forming the base of a groove receiving the lining, the device comprising means for fitting the sleeve to the collar and comprising a continuous peripheral projection (13) formed in one piece with the sleeve. According to the invention the projection projects radially in abutment against the step over most of the radial height.
Pipe joint with low insertion load, improved retention and increased high pressure sealing ability gasket and method of manufacture thereof
Pipe joints and more particularly circular push-on type pipe joints including a flexible gasket having both hard and soft sections and where the hard section has a chamfered outer edge and a C-shaped grooved portion on a side opposite of the chamfered outer edge in which a portion of the soft section fills and is connected to and the soft section is configured to partially overlap a flange on an interior surface of a pipe bell end.
