A fire suppression sprinkler adapted to receive arcuate surfaces of a grooved coupling is retainable to the coupling in a pre-assembled state. The coupling joins the sprinkler in facing axial end to end relation directly to grooved pipe. The sprinkler has a monolithic body which defines a bore having an inlet and an outlet. A groove, positioned between the inlet and the outlet extends around the body. A projection, positioned between the groove and the outlet also extends around the body.

A riser support assembly includes a riser support pipe comprising a sidewall defining a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween, the intermediate portion configured to extend through an elevated support structure; and a mount extending from the sidewall, the mount configured to engage a mounting surface of the elevated support structure to support the riser support assembly on the mounting surface.

The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture. The fastener has an adjusted length at which the first clamp segment grips the gasket, and the second clamp segment grips the gasket to locate the first sealing lip and the second sealing lip within the insertion boundary.

A device for axially connecting two pipe elements, including a coupling means with a first coupling means part assignable to a first pipe element, a second coupling means part and an intermediate connecting part arrangeable between the two coupling means parts, wherein a first articulation element formed on the first or second coupling means part is configured to cooperate with a second articulation element formed on the intermediate connecting part, in particular in a positive manner, forming an articulated connection between the first or second coupling means part and the intermediate connecting part, or a second articulation element formed on the first or second coupling means part is configured to cooperate with a first articulation element formed on the intermediate connecting part, forming an articulated connection between the first or second coupling means part and the intermediate connecting part.

The housing portions are supported on split rings received within grooves in each housing portion. The housing portions are supported in spaced relation in a preassembled state to permit insertion of pipe elements into the receptacles without disassembly of the fitting.
