BUSHINGS AND FITTINGS, TUBING ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS INCORPORATING THE SAME
One aspect of the invention provides a bushing including: a plurality of rigid members defining one or more internal ribs including a first internal rib adapted and configured to engage a corrugation valley of corrugated tubing; and one or more elastic members adapted and configured to: hold the plurality of rigid members in substantially annular configuration; allow the plurality of rigid members to expand to allow a corrugation peak to pass under the first internal rib; and hold the plurality of rigid members against the corrugated tubing so that the first internal rib lies within a corrugation valley. Another aspect of the invention provides a fitting including: a body member defining a sleeve portion; and a bushing as described herein received within the sleeve portion of the body member.
Back ferrule having bellows-shaped elastic part
Disclosed herein is a back ferrule having a bellows-shaped elastic part. The back ferrule (40) is used, for pipe connection, along with: a connector body (10) having an external thread on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a drive nut (20) having an internal thread on an inner circumferential surface thereof; and a front ferrule (30). The back ferrule (40) includes: a nose part (41) having a front-end inclined surface (41b); a tail part (42) having a rear-end inclined surface (42b); and an outer circumferential surface (43) and an inner circumferential surface (44) connecting the nose part to the tail part. An outer circumferential corrugated surface (45) and an inner circumferential corrugated surface (46) are respectively formed on the outer circumferential surface and the inner circumferential surface between the nose part and the tail part.
Connection structure of corrugated pipe
A connection structure of a corrugated pipe is provided that may include a corrugated pipe, a clamping nut located outside of the corrugated pipe, a confinement ring mounted on a valley of the corrugated pipe and disposed within the clamping nut, a connection body having an insertion portion inserted into the clamping nut and having male threads threaded to the clamping nut, and a packing member located between an end of the corrugated pipe and the insertion portion to compress and deform the end of the corrugated pipe when the clamping nut is clamped and to provide a sealing between the end of the corrugated pipe and the insertion portion. As the packing member provides the sealing between the insertion portion of the connection body and the end of the corrugated pipe, a gap may minimally occur and reliability is increased.
Temperature control device
Temperature control device (1) has a hot water inlet (12), a cold water inlet (14) and an outlet (16) for tempered water. A diffuser (18) is provided in the device (1) to disrupt the flow of hot water after it enters the device (1). The disrupted hot water emerges from the diffuser (18) into a chamber (20) in which it is melded with cold water that is able to enter the chamber (20) from the inlet (14) when a piston (22) is spaced from a seat (24). The melded hot and cold water result in tempered water that is discharged from the outlet (16). A temperature sensitive device (26) is provided, which is responsive to changes in ambient temperature. A temperature setting mechanism (52) is provided which is operatively associated with the temperature sensitive device (26) and permits the maximum temperature of the discharged tempered water to be adjusted.
SEALING PIPE JOINT MADE OF RESIN
The present disclosure discloses a sealing pipe joint made of resin including a joint body, an inner ring, and a nut. The inner ring includes a plug head, the joint body includes a slot portion, the plug head is inserted within the slot portion to form a sealing connection. The nut is connected to the join body to maintain the plug head and the slot portion in a plugged state, the nut presses against the inner ring. In a free state, a radius thickness of the plug head is linearly changed along the the axis of the inner ring, and in plugged state, the slot portion is elastically deformed and a radius changing rate of the slot portion is less than that of the plug head when the plug head is in the free state.
