CONDUIT CONNECTION WITH SENSOR
Apparatus and method for mechanically attached connections of conduits may include a conduit gripping member, a drive member, and a seal member, the drive member causing axial movement of the conduit gripping member to indent into an outer surface of the conduit when the assembly is pulled-up, the drive member causing the seal member to form a zero clearance seal at a location that is axially spaced from the conduit gripping member. The zero clearance seal may comprise a face seal arrangement including a gasket, and the conduit gripping member may be a ferrule, ring or other device that can grip and optionally seal against the conduit outer surface. The assembly may include a sensing function for detecting or sensing a characteristic or condition of an assembly component or the fluid or both. In one embodiment, a body coupling member has a two piece construction of a main body and a conduit socket insert. A flared fitting embodiment is also provided. Sensing functions are also incorporated into fittings other than just zero clearance fittings.

Inner ring and pipe joint
An inner ring of a pipe joint includes a first tapered surface formed at one axial end portion of an inner circumferential surface such that a diameter thereof gradually increases from another axial side toward one axial end thereof in a state before a bulge portion is press-fitted into an end portion of a tube. A diameter increase starting point of the first tapered surface is located in a range from a deformation starting point, which serves as a starting point from which an inner circumferential surface is deformed due to the bulge portion 5 receiving external force from the tube 8 when the bulge portion is press-fitted into the end portion of the tube, to a position, on the inner circumferential surface, corresponding to one axial end of an outer circumferential surface of a body portion.

Sealing member and pipe joint
An inner ring 4 of a pipe joint 1 includes a cylindrical body portion 5 having a communication hole 5a for providing communication between flow passage holes 2c and 8a of a joint body 2 and a tube 8, and an annular primary sealing portion 11 projecting from a radially inner side of an axially outer end portion of the body portion 5 toward an axially outer side and to be press-fitted into an annular primary sealing groove 2d formed on the joint body 2. The primary sealing portion 11 is formed so as to be tapered from an axially inner end thereof toward an axially outer end thereof in an axial cross-sectional view, and has a flat surface 11c extending from a radially outer end 11b of the axially outer end thereof toward the radially inner side.

TUBE CONNECTING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a tube connecting device comprising a tube having a flared end defining a front surface and a rear surface; a threaded sleeve having a through opening for receiving the tube, a connector having a conical seating surface for receiving the front surface of the flared end and a threaded portion being meshable with the threaded sleeve, a ring arranged between the rear surface of the flared end and the threaded sleeve when the threaded sleeve is screwed. The tube connection device of the invention is characterized by the ring is fixed to the rear surface of the flared end before the tube connection is made and the ring maintains its fixation along the connection is made.
Enhanced union connection
An enhanced union connection for connecting tubular members together. The enhanced union connection may include a male end member, a female end member, a wing nut, and nut retaining segments. The union connection is configured to quickly and easily connect and disconnect tubular members together, while providing and maintaining a robust connection and seal (e.g. up to 15,000 psi or more) between the tubular members when connected together.
