A pipe connector includes a housing body defining an axial bore arranged to receive a length of pipe. A plurality of sealing members is positionable in a stacked configuration within the axial bore. The sealing members define a first opening through which the length of pipe can pass and are arranged to form a seal between the length of pipe and the housing body. A locking member is positionable in the axial bore above the sealing members. The locking member defines a second opening. The length of pipe is movable through the second opening in a first direction and the locking member engages the length of pipe when the pipe is forced in a second direction opposite the first direction to form a one-way stop.

RETAINING RING FOR PIPE JOINT DEVICES

Embodiments of a retaining ring for a pipe joint assembly comprise a unitary, ring-shaped body having radially inner and outer surfaces and axially inner and outer surfaces, wherein the radially inner surface is provided with a gripping segment comprising one or more fins, with each of the fins extending radially inwardly. Embodiments further include a wing formed therewith, extending radially outwardly from the radial outer surface to the radially outermost surface. In various embodiments, the retaining ring can be split.

CONDUIT FITTING WITH STROKE RESISTING FEATURES

A fitting includes first and second fitting components adapted to be joined on a conduit to a first relative axial position to effect a seal between the conduit and a sealing element, sealing the conduit from a non-wetted fitting interior volume at least partially defined by the first and second fitting components. When the first and second fitting components are joined to the first relative axial position, first and second annular surfaces of the fitting axially engage, resulting in resistance to additional axial stroke of the first and second fitting components. At least one of the first and second annular surfaces includes a recess extending from an inner diameter to an outer diameter of the corresponding annular surface, and defining a leak detection port in fluid communication with the fitting interior volume when the first annular surface is in engagement with the second annular surface.

Tube connection nut and ferrule assembly

A nut and ferrule assembly including a nut having an internal-threaded bore along a nut axis and a nut sealing surface, the threads of the internal-threaded bore having a nut thread pitch and a nut thread minor diameter, a ferrule having an annular body forming an axial bore and a ferrule sealing surface, the ferrule sealing surface corresponding to the nut sealing surface, the ferrule further having a protrusion extending outwardly from the body around at least a portion of the body, the outside diameter of the protrusion being greater than the nut thread minor diameter, and the ferrule positioned within the internal-threaded bore.

Seal assembly

A seal assembly has a connector body with a first section and a second section, movable relative to one another. The first section and the second section each has an open end configured for receiving the free end of a pipe. The open end of the first and second sections are each configured for sealing engagement with the free end of a respective pipe. The seal assembly is movable between a first condition, in which the second section assumes a retracted position relative to the first section, and a second condition in which the second section assumes an extended position relative to the first section. A seal member is provided for creating a seal between the first section and the second sections in said first and second conditions. First and second adaptors are provided, each for association with a respective one of said first and second sections of the connector body and configured for securing at the free end of a respective pipe. First and second mechanical interlock arrangements are provided, each for association with a respective one of said first and second adaptors, and each configured for driving the respective adaptor in the direction of the connector body.

GRIP ELEMENTS FOR PIPES

An accessory for a clamp assembly includes a grip element which has a base portion including two opposite end faces, rows of teeth that protrude from the base portion, the teeth being arranged in rows with gaps separating them, wherein each of the teeth has a shape as viewed from one of the end faces which includes a first shape portion which has straight sides each of which extends from the base portion to an end, wherein a junction of each of the straight sides with the base portion has a radius, wherein the straight sides form borders of the gaps. Each of the teeth includes another shape portion that extends inwards, away from the gaps. The ends of the straight sides of the first shape portion and the other shape portion cooperate to grip a pipe.

PIPE FITTING WITH GRIP RING
20220178479 · 2022-06-09 ·

A pipe fitting includes a fitting body defining an inner surface, an outer surface, a first fitting end, and a second fitting end, the inner surface defining a channel extending from the first fitting end to the second fitting end, a portion of the inner surface defining a tapered region tapering towards the first fitting end; and an engagement assembly comprising a metal grip ring received in the channel, the metal grip ring defining a substantially frustoconical ring body, the ring body defining a diameter that tapers from a first lateral end of the ring body to a second lateral end of the ring body, the engagement assembly configured to slide along the tapered region.

JOINT STRUCTURE

Provided is a joint structure with which a pipe can be disconnected without moving the pipe in a longitudinal direction thereof, even if the pipe is not machined. A first sleeve 2 has an inner cavity into which a pipe 100 is inserted, and one end part of the first sleeve comes into contact with a joint body 1. A second sleeve 3 has a hole into which the pipe 100 is inserted, and one end part of the second sleeve comes into contact with the other end part of the first sleeve. A nut 4 covers one end part of the joint body 1, the first sleeve 2, and the second sleeve 3, and the nut is threaded onto the joint body in a state of pressing against the surface of the second sleeve 3 on the side opposite from the first sleeve 2.

COMPRESSION FITTING WITH VISUAL TORQUE INDICATOR

A tubing nut fastener having elements that are partially rotatable with respect to each other. In between the rotatable elements, engagement members (e.g., balls) are captured within interior channels. The partially rotatable elements include permanent markings or other non-removable visual indicators, which varies spatially depending on whether the tubing nut fastener is in a torqued state or an un-torqued state, thereby providing a visual indication of the status of the tubing nut fastener.

COMPRESSION PIPE FITTING WITH WIDE RANGE GRIP RINGS
20230250903 · 2023-08-10 ·

Compression fittings for pipes having a range of diameters, including a support body with a central section between end sections, the central section having a smaller diameter than the end sections, with a transition surface between the central section and each end section. A gasket fits over a pipe and engages one of the support body end section end surfaces. A fitting nut is movable axially over the support body to draw the support body and the gasket together in the axial direction and bias the gasket radially inward against the pipe. A grip ring encircles the pipe at one gasket end and has a surface engaging the fitting nut whereby the fitting nut biases the grip ring radially inwardly toward the pipe. An insert adapter has a hub with a radially extending flange may block the other gasket end to load the gasket between its axial ends.
