The annular seal element is configured for creating a first annular sealing contact for creating a metal-to-metal seal with a metal outer surface of a pipe and a second annular sealing contact for creating a metal-to-metal seal with the annular seal surface. The connector assembly includes an annular loading ring configured for fitting about the pipe. The annular loading ring is configured to be arranged for communication between the body and the pipe. The annular loading ring includes one or more channels or bores extending from an external surface, for use in the application of energising load to the annular seal element within the body. The connector assembly includes a mechanical engagement arrangement for preventing or limiting axial movement of the body relative to the pipe. The annular loading ring is configured to be coupled with the body to prevent relative axial movement between the annular loading ring and the body.

The tube fitting includes: a fitting body having a passage formed therein for supplying a fluid, and a plurality of accommodation spaces formed therein and communicating with the passage; a plurality of tube fixtures which are respectively accommodated in the plurality of accommodation spaces in a state of being fixedly coupled to one end of each of a plurality of tubes, and which connect the one end of each of the plurality of tubes to the passage; a plurality of ferrule members which are respectively accommodated in the plurality of accommodation spaces in a state of being respectively in contact with the plurality of tube fixtures, and which respectively maintain airtightness between the inner circumferential surfaces of the plurality of accommodation spaces and the outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of tubes; and a plurality of nut bodies which are respectively coupled to the plurality of accommodation spaces to fix the plurality of tube fixtures and the plurality of ferrule members respectively to the plurality of accommodation spaces.
TUBE FITTING AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a tube fitting and an assembly method therefor. The tube fitting includes: a fitting body having a passage formed therein for supplying a fluid, and a plurality of accommodation spaces formed therein and communicating with the passage; a plurality of tube fixtures which are respectively accommodated in the plurality of accommodation spaces in a state of being fixedly coupled to one end of each of a plurality of tubes, and which connect the one end of each of the plurality of tubes to the passage; a plurality of ferrule members which are respectively accommodated in the plurality of accommodation spaces in a state of being respectively in contact with the plurality of tube fixtures, and which respectively maintain airtightness between the inner circumferential surfaces of the plurality of accommodation spaces and the outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of tubes; and a plurality of nut bodies which are respectively coupled to the plurality of accommodation spaces to fix the plurality of tube fixtures and the plurality of ferrule members respectively to the plurality of accommodation spaces.
SEAL ASSEMBLY
A seal assembly includes a connector body having an open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe and an adaptor for securing at the free end of the pipe. The adaptor has a first ring, configured to be mounted around the circumference of the free end of a pipe, and a second ring configured to cooperate with the first ring in order to drive the first ring into engagement with an outer surface of the pipe. A mechanical interlock arrangement is configured for driving the adaptor in the direction of the connector body, when the adaptor is secured at the free end of the pipe. The mechanical interlock arrangement is further configured for preventing or limiting axial movement of the pipe relative to the connector body, when the adaptor is secured to the outer surface of the pipe and when the free end of the pipe is in sealing contact with a metal seal surface of the connector body.
