A fluidic connector to connect two ducts of a system such as an air conditioning system. The connector includes at least one elastic material, and includes a duct surrounded by an adjustable clamping collar which, when tightened, serves to deform it to reduce the internal space of the duct. The clamping of the collar makes it possible to easily and quickly regulate the rate of flow in the ducts.

Pipe coupling assembly

A locking mechanism for use with a coupler assembly for sealing pipe is described herein. The locking mechanism comprises a partially hollow cylindrical body having a first end opposite a second end along a common axis, the body defining a first cord path connecting the first end to a first arcuate opening defined in the body and a second cord path connecting the second end to a second arcuate opening defined in the body, wherein the first cord path and the second cord path comprise separate paths. The locking mechanism further comprising first and second caps that are slidably attachable to the first and second ends of the body, respectively and a cord having a first end portion located within the first cord path and a second end portion located within the second cord path.

Coupling having rotation limited segments
11624461 · 2023-04-11 · ·

A pipe coupling has two segments with angularly oriented action surfaces in facing relationship. The action surfaces induce relative rotation between the segments when the segments are drawn together to engage the pipe elements being joined. Attachment elements on each segment, in the form of lugs, accommodate adjustable fasteners which draw the segments together when tightened. Angularly oriented support surfaces on the lugs engage one another and react the fastener force. Stop surfaces are positioned on the lugs adjacent to the support surfaces. Engagement between the stop surfaces limits the relative rotation between the segments.

Pipe couplings

A pipe coupling includes a first coupling segment defining opposed ends, one end of the first coupling segment defining a first pivotal mount, and another end of the first coupling segment defining a second pivotal mount; a second coupling segment defining opposed ends, a proximal end of the second coupling segment configured to pivotally connect to the first pivotal mount, and a distal end of the second coupling segment configured to receive a fastener; and a third coupling segment defining opposed ends, a proximal end of the third coupling segment configured to pivotally connect to the second pivotal mount, and a distal end of the third coupling segment configured to receive the fastener.

A clamp comprising a band, the band comprising first and second edges and a gap there between, first and second lug elements extending from the band on opposite sides of the gap, multiple bolts configured to extend transversely from bolt receiving openings in the first lug element to bolt receiving openings in the second lug element, at least one of the multiple bolts having a bolt retainer on the bolt configured such that the bolt retainer does not pass through the openings in the second lug element, and the bolt retainer positioned on the bolt on an inner side of the opening in the second lug element and closer to a second end portion of the bolt outside the second lug element than a first end portion of the bolt outside the first lug element.

Preassembled Coupling Having a Seal
20230167928 · 2023-06-01 ·

A preassembled coupling for joining pipe elements has segments surrounding a central space with cusps which engage lobes of a seal to maintain the segments in spaced apart relation in a preassembled state. While the coupling is in the preassembled state the pipe elements may be inserted into the central space without disassembling the coupling, and portions of the seal adjacent to attachment members on the segments seat within a channel defined by the segments between the cusps, while portions of the seal between the attachment members are further from a back surface of the channel.

Pipe coupling

A pipe coupling for connecting two pipe ends includes: a clamp band which has a longitudinal slot, an inner housing arranged therein, and a clamping mechanism for reducing the internal diameter of the clamp band. The clamp band is designed as a flat single piece and has an outer band portion and inner band portions which are connected to the outer band portion via at least one connection. A connection assembly is provided for securing the inner housing in the clamp band, where the connection assembly includes a first connection part and a second connection part. The first connection part extends into the second connection part, and at least one of the connection parts of the connection assembly is designed to connect the at least first outer band portion to the at least first inner band portion of the clamp band.

A BAG LOADING NOZZLE
20220306329 · 2022-09-29 · ·

A bag loading nozzle to confine a flow of material from upstream feed for downstream discharge into a bag having a spouted entrance. The nozzle comprising an interior wall presenting an inlet and an outlet, located intermediate of the inlet and outlet end and about the interior wall is a shape retaining tube and through which the material is to pass from the feed into the bag. At least one actuable fluid inflatable collar at least substantially about the shape retaining tube is provided such that when actuated to its inflated form(s) it will effect at least a substantial sealing with a fitted suitable bag from within its spouted entrance.

Combination sealing member and pipe couplings

A sealing member is disclosed having an outer surface that supports segments of a pipe coupling for joining pipe elements in end to end relation. The segments are supported in spaced relation to permit the pipe elements to be inserted into the coupling without disassembly. The sealing member is a flexible ring that has conical lips around its inner circumference to engage and guide the pipe elements into the coupling. A tongue extends radially inwardly between the lips, the tongue having conical shoulders which engage and guide the pipe ends. The tongue locates the coupling segments relatively to the pipe elements.
