The duct coupler device and system can be cast in concrete. Multiple concrete segments can be assembled together to form a bridge, a roadway, a building, a slab, or any other structure.
WYE FITTING ATTACHMENT
An assembly for connecting a wye fitting to another fluid conduit part of a fluid system includes the wye fitting, the other fluid conduit part and a clamshell fastener. The wye fitting defines a main fluid flow path along an axis A between a first end and a second end. An end of the wye fitting to be connected to the another fluid conduit part is provided with a plurality of first engagement features arranged circumferentially around the end of the wye fitting and an end of the another fluid conduit part is provided with a corresponding plurality of second engagement features arranged circumferentially around the end of the another fluid conduit part configured to engage with the first engagement features. The clamshell is secured around the end of the wye fitting and the another fluid conduit part over the interface between the first and second engagement features.
PIPE COUPLING GASKET ASSEMBLY
A conduit coupling assembly having an arcuate clamp ring having first and second longitudinal edges, a spanner configured to extend across a longitudinal ring gap between the first and second longitudinal edges, a connecting assembly configured to tighten the spanner and clamp ring to the fluid conduit from a non-actuated position to a tightened position, an arcuate gasket configured to be positioned between the clamp ring and spanner on an outer side of the gasket and the fluid conduit on an inner side of the gasket, and the gasket comprising a spanner recess in the outer side of the gasket configured to receive at least a portion of the spanner.
RESTRAINED PLASTIC PIPE JOINT AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides a restrained pipe joint including a first pipe including a bell with a spigot entryway and a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.
Coupling for forming a sealed joint between first and second tubular members
The invention concerns a coupling for use in forming a sealed joint between first and second tubular members. The coupling provides a through-passage defined by an inner coupling face and having a first open end for insertion of the first tubular member into a first region of the through-passage and a second open end for insertion of the second tubular member into a second region of the through-passage. A first inwardly directed engagement recess is provided in the inner coupling face in the first region of the through-passage and a second inwardly directed engagement recess is provided in the inner coupling face in the second region of the passage. In the assembled joint, the first inwardly directed engagement recess aligns with a first outwardly directed engagement recess of the first tubular member to form a first channel for receipt of a first retainer to secure the first tubular member in the coupling. The second inwardly directed recess aligns with a second outwardly directed engagement recess of the second tubular member to form a second channel for receipt of a second retainer to secure the second tubular member in the coupling. The first region of the through-passage has a larger diameter than the second region of the through-passage.
PRE-ASSEMBLED PIPE COUPLING WITH AN INSERTION BOUNDARY FOR AXIAL RECEIPT OF PIPE ENDS
A pre-assembled pipe coupling includes a gasket, a housing surrounding the gasket, and a fastener. The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary. A bridge segment has a first mount extending lateral from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls defining a first aperture and a second mount having a plurality of second lateral walls defining a second aperture. A first clamp segment has a first hook disposed in the first aperture. A second clamp segment has a second hook disposed in the second aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture. The fastener has an adjusted length at which the first clamp segment grips the gasket, and the second clamp segment grips the gasket to locate the first sealing lip and the second sealing lip within the insertion boundary.
Flange seal for pipe and repair of pipes
A watertight flange for jointing and repairing pipes is provided that includes a ring-shaped sealing gasket (2) and a metal body (3) that is perimetrically coupled on the circular surface of the ring-shaped gasket (2). The sealing gasket (2) and the metal body (3) are pressed by closing and clamping elements externally incorporated determined by bolts (4) transversally inserted in respective pairs of parallel through-axles (5) and joined integral with the metal body (3). The metal body (3) has approximately the same length as the ring-shaped gasket (2), with respective lateral ends perpendicularly folded inward and having radial cuts (31) that define related rims (32) that determine retaining means of the said ring-shaped gasket (2) in the metal body (3) and, eventually, means interlocking the watertight flange (1) itself on the surface of the pipes to be jointed.
Electrical isolator
An electrical isolator includes a first fluid-carrying member and a second fluid-carrying member spaced apart from the first fluid-carrying member in an axial direction and a resistive, semi-conductive or non-conductive component located between the first and second fluid-carrying members. The component is adapted to convey fluid flowing from the first fluid-carrying member to the second fluid-carrying member. The isolator also include a first fluid sealing member provided between the first fluid-carrying member and the component, a second fluid sealing member provided between the second fluid-carrying member and the component, and a reinforcing composite encircling the first fluid-carrying member, the second fluid-carrying member and the resistive, semi-conductive or non-conductive component. A a radially inner portion of the component separates the first fluid-carrying member and the second fluid-carrying member by an axial distance. The first and second sealing members are located within the axial distance between the first and second fluid-carrying members.
METHOD FOR FORMING INLINE TRIPLE WALL COUPLING CONNECTOR
