Non-threaded tubular connection

A technique facilitates connection of tubulars along a tubing string via a linear motion. A first tubular is provided with a first connector end having a non-circular transverse cross-section, and a second tubular is provided with a second connector end having a corresponding non-circular transverse cross-section. The non-circular cross-section and the corresponding non-circular cross-section are designed to matingly engage when the first and second tubulars are moved linearly toward each other to form a tubing string. A seal is provided to seal the first connector end with the second connector end once linearly engaged. A locking mechanism may be employed to linearly lock the first connector end with the second connector end.

A prefabricated composite concrete element for use in a corrosive sewer environment. The concrete element has a hollow reinforced cast concrete portion with at least one end having connection details, a premolded corrosion resistant inner plastic liner. The plastic liner lines an interior of the hollow concrete element and the connection details to provide abutting liner faces in an assembled joint to limit exposure through said joint of said concrete portion to corrosive materials arising in said sewer environment. At least two prefabricated composite concrete elements may be assembled end to end at a joint to form a concrete sewer system. Also disclosed are a method of prefabricating such a composite concrete element.

Wedged protrusion profile fitting seal systems and methods

Techniques for implementing a pipeline system including a pipe fitting, which includes a fitting shell that define a fitting bore and a tubing cavity around the fitting bore. The tubing cavity interfaces with pipe segment tubing to facilitate fluidly coupling the fitting bore to a pipe bore. The fitting shell includes a seal groove that is recessed into a fitting shell surface that facilitates defining the tubing cavity. The pipe fitting includes a belt seal having a multisided axial cross-section profile, in which the belt seal is to be disposed in the seal groove to implement a fitting seal in the pipe fitting that includes a protruding portion having a wedge-shaped axial cross-section profile that protrudes beyond the fitting shell surface into the tubing cavity to facilitate sealing a fluid conduit implemented in an annulus of the pipe segment tubing in the tubing cavity of the pipe fitting.

The present invention relates to a packing member for water-sealing a pipe, and more particularly, to a packing member inserted into a housing and externally inserted onto an outer side surface of a pipe, the packing member including: an inner circumferential part (261) externally inserted onto the pipe; an outer circumferential part (262) inserted into the housing, one side thereof being connected to the inner circumferential part (261) to form a fluid accommodation part (265) between the inner and outer circumferential parts (261) and (262); and the fluid accommodation part (265) to accommodate a fluid flowing in the pipe, in which the inner circumferential part (261) is brought into close contact with the outer side surface of the pipe by pressure of the accommodated fluid, thereby forming a water-sealing structure with the pipe. According to the present invention, the packing member includes a support part, and thus may maintain a shape of a packing even when exposed to high-pressure fluid environments when connected to the pipe or after installation, thereby providing a highly efficient water-sealing structure.
