Non-welded type branch piping reinforcement apparatus
A non-welded type branch piping reinforcement apparatus capable of preventing damage to a branch pipe system by increasing the strength of the branch pipe system by covering and protecting the branch pipe system connected to a header pipe, by a joint clamp, a connection pipe clamp, and a valve clamp includes: a joint clamp arranged to cover the branch pipe joint and the connection pipe and having an arc-shaped cross section; a connection pipe clamp arranged to cover the connection pipe and having an arc-shaped cross section; and a valve clamp arranged to cover the connection pipe and the valve and having an arc-shaped cross section, wherein one end of the connection pipe clamp is connected to the joint clamp and the other end of the connection pipe clamp is connected to the valve clamp.
JOINT RESTRAINT DEVICE
A method of coupling a pipe length to a piping element can include arranging a gland over an end of the pipe length, the gland including a joint restraint assembly, the pipe length defining an outer pipe surface; arranging the end of the pipe length within a socket defined by the piping element; fastening the gland to the piping element; and activating the joint restraint assembly by hand to prevent removal of the pipe length from the socket.

Seal configuration to prevent damage from explosive decompression
A seal assembly for an air conditioning system includes an annular inner seal member and an annular outer seal member coupled to the inner seal member. The outer seal member has a first recess formed in a first surface thereof. The first recess transitions between a substantially closed configuration when the outer seal member is compressed and a substantially open configuration when the outer seal member is decompressed.
RESIN TUBE CONNECTION DEVICE
A resin tube connection device includes a resin tube, a resin expanding portion and a metal sleeve. The resin expanding portion has a sealing surface being able to come into contact with a contact surface. Further, the resin expanding portion has a second flow path that communicates with a first flow path of the resin tube and opens in the sealing surface. The sealing surface projects farther than an end surface of the metal sleeve in an axial direction. The maximum length of a contact region where the resin expanding portion and the metal sleeve come into contact with each other in the axial direction in an outer surface is larger than the thickness of a resin layer in a radial direction.

PIPE CONNECTOR
An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication includes a connector body having opposing open ends, with each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe, and a mechanical interlock arrangement for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body. A mechanical seal arrangement provides a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of the open ends and the connector body.

Pipe-joining centering device
A pipe-joining centering device aligns, with an axial center of one pipe, an axial center of another pipe when a spigot of the other pipe is to be inserted into a socket of the one pipe. The pipe-joining centering device includes a support member configured to support an end part of the spigot. The support member is tiltable in a pipe radial direction between an inner peripheral surface of the socket and an outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The pipe-joining centering device also includes a position adjustment member configured to tilt the support member in the pipe radial direction. The support member and the position adjustment member are supported on the inner peripheral surface of the socket.
Large diameter pipe rounding tool and method of use
An apparatus and method for re-rounding a distorted end (e.g., oval-shaped) of a pipe for insertion into a mechanical joint fitting or pipe bell have a circular diameter. The apparatus involves two separate semi-circular members having jack bolt assemblies evenly distributed in each. The two ends of each of the semi-circular members have extensions that can be releasably coupled to join to the two members to form a circular re-rounding tool. A first semi-circular member is positioned on the maximum diameter side of the distorted pipe and the other semi-circular member is placed on the opposite side of the distorted pipe and extensions joined. With an equal number of jack bolt assemblies in each member, corresponding jack bolt assemblies in the two members are diametrically aligned forming pairs. To re-round the distorted end, pairs of these jack bolt assemblies are tightened in a “star sequence” to re-round the distorted end. The re-rounded end is inserted into the mechanical joint fitting or pipe bell and the extensions are decoupled to easily remove the circular tool from the re-rounded end.
