PRE-ASSEMBLED PIPE COUPLING WITH AN INSERTION BOUNDARY FOR AXIAL RECEIPT OF PIPE ENDS
A pre-assembled pipe coupling includes a gasket, a housing surrounding the gasket, and a fastener. The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary. A bridge segment has a first mount extending lateral from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls defining a first aperture and a second mount having a plurality of second lateral walls defining a second aperture. A first clamp segment has a first hook disposed in the first aperture. A second clamp segment has a second hook disposed in the second aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture. The fastener has an adjusted length at which the first clamp segment grips the gasket, and the second clamp segment grips the gasket to locate the first sealing lip and the second sealing lip within the insertion boundary.
Flange seal for pipe and repair of pipes
A watertight flange for jointing and repairing pipes is provided that includes a ring-shaped sealing gasket (2) and a metal body (3) that is perimetrically coupled on the circular surface of the ring-shaped gasket (2). The sealing gasket (2) and the metal body (3) are pressed by closing and clamping elements externally incorporated determined by bolts (4) transversally inserted in respective pairs of parallel through-axles (5) and joined integral with the metal body (3). The metal body (3) has approximately the same length as the ring-shaped gasket (2), with respective lateral ends perpendicularly folded inward and having radial cuts (31) that define related rims (32) that determine retaining means of the said ring-shaped gasket (2) in the metal body (3) and, eventually, means interlocking the watertight flange (1) itself on the surface of the pipes to be jointed.
Exhaust clamp and method
An assembly is provided including a clamp comprising a band having an annular groove defined therein. The annular groove is defined between a pair of curved band surface sections joined to a substantially flat band surface section when the clamp is viewed in cross-section. The assembly also includes a substantially cylindrical body having an axis. A flared flange extends radially outwardly from the cylindrical body. A retaining clip extends from the flared flange. The band clamp is secured to the conduit such that the flared flange of the conduit is positioned within the band, and the retaining clip of the conduit is secured to the band.
PIPE COUPLING WITH PIPE CONNECTION RINGS
A pipe connection ring can include a plurality of segments and a plurality of deformable links. Each of the plurality of links can connect adjacent segments of the plurality of segments, the segments and links alternating about a circumference of the pipe connection ring, each pair of the adjacent segments and a corresponding link of the plurality of links connecting the adjacent segments and together with the adjacent segments defining a relief between the adjacent segments, each of the plurality of links configured to allow movement of the adjacent segments upon deformation of the link connecting the adjacent segments. The pipe connection ring can define a first axial end surface, a second axial end surface distal from the first axial end surface, an inner surface, and an outer surface distal from the inner surface.
PRE-ASSEMBLED COUPLING ASSEMBLY WITH FLEXIBLE HOSE ADAPTER
A flexible hose adapter configured for engagement with a coupling, the flexible hose adapter including an end piece, the end piece defining an inner end and an outer end, the end piece defining an axis extending from the inner end to the outer end, the end piece defining a raised lip, a sealing surface, and a groove, the raised lip axially positioned at the inner end, the sealing surface positioned between the raised lip and the groove; and a flexible hose attached to the outer end of the end piece.
Cylindrical pressure vessel clamping device
A pressure clamp for connecting pressure vessel segments can include a pair of semi-circular sections, which can be placed around the ends of the segments, so that there is a slight gap between the semi-circular sections. The inner surfaces of the semi-circular sections can be formed with two notches with beveled surfaces. The beveled surfaces can engage corresponding slanted surfaces on the segment ends, to urge the segments towards each other as the clamp is tightened. A pair of jack screws can be threaded through the semi-circular sections so that the jack screws extend slightly outwardly from one of the sections and contact the other section at the beginning of the tightening process, to establish an initial assembly gap. As fasteners tighten the clamp around the segment, the jack screws can be backed out to maintain a uniformly decreasing assembly gap between the semi-circular sections.
PIPE CLAMP AND PIPE CLAMP ASSEMBLY CAPABLE OF REALIZING QUICK CONNECTION
A pipe clamp and a pipe clamp assembly capable of realizing quick connection. The pipe clamp includes a first coupling section and a second coupling section. The first coupling section and the second coupling section are for fixing pipe fittings together end-to-end. One end of the first coupling section is connected to one end of the second coupling section by a first connecting mechanism, and the other end of the first coupling section is connected to the other end of the second coupling section by a second connecting mechanism. Positioning protrusions are respectively arranged on the inner walls of the first coupling section and the second coupling section. The pipe clamp assembly includes a sealing member. Positioning grooves, matching the positioning protrusions, are in the sealing member. The positioning protrusions for positioning the pipe fittings are on the inner walls of the first coupling section and the second coupling section.
Pre-assembled coupling assembly with cap
A cap configured for engagement with a coupling can comprise an annular ring extending circumferentially around an outer portion of the cap, the cap defining an inner end and an outer end disposed opposite from the inner end, the annular ring defining a sealing surface between the inner end and the outer end, the annular ring defining a raised lip at the inner end, the raised lip extending radially outward from the sealing surface; and a web, the web enclosing the annular ring.
Pipeline Connecting Device, Pipeline Element Coupling Piece and Coupling Method Therefor
Disclosed are a pipeline connecting device, a pipeline element coupling piece and a coupling method therefor. The pipeline element coupling unit comprises a plurality of coupling units, a gasket arranged at the coupling unit, and a fastening element. Each coupling unit comprises two engaging keys located at two coupling ends thereof, each engaging key has an engaging surface, and each engaging surface has a variable curvature radius. The fastening element is coupled to the coupling unit, wherein the pipeline element coupling piece is adapted to be pre-mount onto the two pipeline elements and be aligned with engaging keys and corresponding grooves of the pipeline elements. When the fastening element is operated to fasten together the coupling units, each engaging surface is deformed to change the curvature radius to substantially match the curvature radius of the groove circumference of the bottom of the groove of the pipeline element.
