A clamping device suitable for securing a pair of flanges together is a unitary strip of a polymeric material that defines a multiplicity of clamping segments linked by flexible strip portions. The ends of the unitary strip define latching elements shaped to interconnect when the ends are brought together. Along one face of the unitary strip the clamping segments define teeth that project at opposite sides of the unitary strip, and these teeth define faces that are adapted in use to contact outer faces of the pair of flanges. Each clamping segments may define two opposing teeth. The clamping device can be operated with a single hand, being bent around the outside of the pair of flanges so that the clamping segments engage opposite faces of the pair of flanges and hold them together, and the latching elements are interconnected.

A cam assembly includes a first arcuate segment having a first extension, a second arcuate segment having a second extension. The first and second arcuate segments are coupled together for movement with respect to one another. An elongated member includes a first end and a second end, the first end being pivotally coupled to the second extension. The first extension member includes a raised surface portion that extends away from the first arcuate segment and extends away from the second extension. A cam member pivotally secured to the elongated member proximate the second end, the cam member contacting both the portion of the first arcuate segment and a portion of the raised surface portion of the first extension as the cam is rotated from a closed to open position.

A profiled clamp having a clamp band and a clamping device which has two clamping jaws arranged at a distance (D) from one another in the circumferential direction (U). The clamping jaws are arranged on each end of the clamp band and can be moved towards one another by means of at least one clamping means. On an inner side of the clamp band, at least two profiled segments are arranged circumferentially spaced apart from one another. The profiled segments can be connected to the clamp band in each case by means of at least one latching connection.

A profiled clamp having a clamp band and a clamping device which has two clamping jaws arranged at a distance (D) from one another in the circumferential direction (U). The clamping jaws are arranged on each end of the clamp band and can be moved towards one another by means of at least one clamping means. On an inner side of the clamp band, at least two profiled segments are arranged circumferentially spaced apart from one another. The profiled segments can be connected to the clamp band in each case by means of at least one latching connection.

A hose clamp includes an open ended ring body having a first engagement pin located at one end portion, a second engagement pin located at another end portion, and a retaining clip located adjacent the first engagement pin; and a connecting lever detachably attached to the ring body, and including a lever body having a first pivot notch located on one end, a second pivot notch spaced away from the first pivot notch, and a clipping slot located at another end. The first notch of the lever is connected to the first engagement pin of the ring, and the second notch is connected to the second engagement pin of the ring. When the lever is rotated relative to the ring body, the first notch pivots around the first engagement pin and the second notch of the lever pulls the second engagement pin around the first engagement pin.

A hose clamp includes an open ended ring body having a first engagement pin located at one end portion, a second engagement pin located at another end portion, and a retaining clip located adjacent the first engagement pin; and a connecting lever detachably attached to the ring body, and including a lever body having a first pivot notch located on one end, a second pivot notch spaced away from the first pivot notch, and a clipping slot located at another end. The first notch of the lever is connected to the first engagement pin of the ring, and the second notch is connected to the second engagement pin of the ring. When the lever is rotated relative to the ring body, the first notch pivots around the first engagement pin and the second notch of the lever pulls the second engagement pin around the first engagement pin.

A module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system includes a top side, a bottom side, a front side, a rear side, and two opposing lateral sides, which together define a space. The module comprises an apparatus located wholly within the space and one or more connection points coupled to the apparatus. Each of the connection points is for receiving an input for the apparatus or receiving an output from the apparatus. The one or more connection points are located at the top side. The module has a maximum size in a first system dimension that is equal to a first integer multiple of a fixed system value, the first system dimension being a dimension between the lateral sides. For each connection point, a distance between that connection point and each lateral side in the first system dimension is a respective second integer multiple of the fixed system value.

A clamp having a first arcuate clamp member pivotally connected to a second arcuate clamp member via a first pivot member 16 located at one end of the clamp members, the clamp members being pivotable between an open configuration in which the free ends of the clamp members are displaced from one another facilitating the insertion of the mating pipe flanges to be clamped, and a closed configuration wherein the free ends of the clamp members contact one another and encircle the mating flanged end connections. Associated with the first arcuate clamp member is an arcuate articulated lever which itself is pivotally attached by a third pivot member linking to member, which is itself pivotally attached by second pivot member to the free end of the first clamp member.

A clamp having a first arcuate clamp member pivotally connected to a second arcuate clamp member via a first pivot member 16 located at one end of the clamp members, the clamp members being pivotable between an open configuration in which the free ends of the clamp members are displaced from one another facilitating the insertion of the mating pipe flanges to be clamped, and a closed configuration wherein the free ends of the clamp members contact one another and encircle the mating flanged end connections. Associated with the first arcuate clamp member is an arcuate articulated lever which itself is pivotally attached by a third pivot member linking to member, which is itself pivotally attached by second pivot member to the free end of the first clamp member.

A V-band clamp includes first and second clamp sections each having an arcuate shape with a first end, a second end, and inside surface defining a recessed channel. A hinge pivotably connects the second end of the first clamp section to the first end of the second clamp section. At least one fastener is configured to releasably connect the first end of the first clamp section to the second end of the second clamp section in a closed position. When the V-band clamp is in the closed position, each fastener extends through an opening in an end face on the first end of the first clamp section and into a bore in an end face on the second end of the second clamp section.
