IRRIGATION PIPE AND METHOD OF FABRICATION
20200256489 · 2020-08-13 · ·

An irrigation pipe and method of fabrication that utilizes a pipe that is made of a durable material, e.g., stainless steel or aluminum. During fabrication, the pipe is equipped with a plurality of components, i.e., a flange assembly, a truss mount, and an outlet, without drilling, welding, or the like. In this manner, a method of fabrication is provided that enables a plurality of components to be assembled to the pipe without compromising the integrity of the pipe material or treated surface so that galvanizing or painting is not required after the plurality of components have been fitted to the pipe.

A flanged fitting includes an annular fitting flange having an annular end face. A glass liner lines a radially inner annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange. A radially outer annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange is free from the glass liner. The radially inner annular portion and the radially outer annular portion of the annular end face of the annular fitting flange define an annular gasket abutment face configured to seat a gasket thereon. An annular gasket includes an annular gasket layer. The annular gasket layer includes a radially inner annular gasket segment including a first material suitable for forming a liquid-tight seal with an opposing flange. A radially outer annular gasket segment surrounds the radially inner annular gasket segment. The radially outer annular gasket segment is fire-rated for forming a fire-rated seal with the opposing flange.

PIPE FITTINGS HAVING INTEGRATED THERMOPLASTIC WITH IMPROVED MELT-FLOW CHARACTERISTICS FOR CURED IN PLACE PIPE SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF USE

A fitting including a tubular extension, flange with apertures, and interface there between is fused with surrounding cured in place pipe and subsequently connected with an adjoining fitting, to connect two segments of pipe in a pipeline. The tubular extension is sized and shaped to mate with the host pipe with which it is associated, and the flange is sized, shaped, and has an aperture pattern that corresponds with the fitting to which it will be attached.

FULL-FACE FLARE JOINT FOR LINED PIPING SYSTEM
20190063647 · 2019-02-28 ·

A full-face flare joint for a lined piping system having a connector portion of a metal piping being flared radially outwardly at a predetermined angle to form a pipe lap with a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is configured to engage a pipe flange. Further, a pipe lining extends out of the connector portion and is flared radially outwardly over the second surface of the pipe lap thereby forming a liner flare. A full-face flare component with a bottom portion is attached to the liner flare so that the bottom portion of the component forms an angle of about 90 with an inner surface of the pipe lining.

An elbow fitting for an excavating apparatus can include a curved cylindrical pipe that can include a first metal material. In an example, the fitting can be configured for coupling to a hose. The pipe can include an interior surface and an exterior surface. Optionally, a perimeter of the pipe does not exceed a diameter of a first end of the pipe. The fitting can include a cladding layer (e.g., a second metal material) that can be coupled to the first metal material within the interior surface of the pipe. The cladding layer can include an abrasion-resistant material. The cladding layer can be coupled to the pipe such as with a welding operation. The cladding layer can include one or more ridges. The cladding layer can corregate the interior surface of the fitting and exterior surfaces of the fitting which can come into contact with abrasive material.
