Seal and a tubular heat exchanger using such seal
A seal including a first portion having a first width that extends in a radial direction of the seal, a second portion that is joined with the first portion and having a second width that is smaller than the first width, and a first recess that is located in the first portion to reduce a width expansion of the first portion when the seal is compressed in an axial direction of the seal.
Arrangement and method for connecting fluid-conducting components, more particularly in the exhaust gas line of a motor vehicle
The invention relates to an arrangement (100) for connecting a first fluid-conducting component (110) to a second fluid-conducting component (120), more particularly in the exhaust gas line of a motor vehicle, having a seal (130), which seals the components (110, 120) at the connecting point, and having a band clamp (140), which encloses the components (110, 120) at the connecting point and attaches the components (110, 120) to each other. According to the invention, the seal (130) is formed with a tab (131), which protrudes at the connecting point after the components (110, 120) have been connected and is visible through a separation joint (141) of the band clamp (140). The invention further relates to a corresponding method for connecting a first fluid-conducting component (110) to a second fluid-conducting component (120).

Articulating flow line connector
An articulating flow line connector for connecting two sections or portions of a flow line, which may be a pressurized flow line. The connector may be configured to provide a sealed connection between the two sections or portions of the flow line, and may provide for a rotating or swiveling connection between the two sections. The articulating flow line connector may generally have a seal carrier ring arranged between two flow lines hubs. Each flow line hub may connect to an end of a flow line section. The seal carrier ring may be configured to provide both a sealing surface and at least one bearing surface. The seal carrier ring may have a sealing flange, a bearing flange, and a web portion extending between the flanges. The connector may additionally have a clamp arranged around or over the seal carrier ring and a portion of the two hubs.

FEATURE FOR SAFEGUARDING FASTENER CLAMP-LOAD ON METAL SEAL
A block fitting assembly includes a first block, a second block, and a first sealing element disposed between the first block and the second block. A clamping device applies a clamping force for compressing the first sealing element between the first block and the second block in an axial direction of the block fitting assembly. A first heel structure projects axially from one of the first block or the second block and projects towards the other of the first block or the second block. The first heel structure is configured to be spaced apart from or to contact the other of the first block or the second block depending on a temperature of the first block.
Hose coupling seal
There is proposed an annular seal for a pipe coupling, comprising, a lower portion beatable within an upwardly open annular groove in the pipe coupling, an upper portion having an upwardly facing abutment surface, a depending skirt and a stiffening ring. The depending skirt is configured for engagement over a circular upstand of the pipe coupling, which is located inwardly of the annular groove. The stiffening ring is located within the upper portion of the annular seal, and includes an annular portion that is generally parallel with and spaced apart from the abutment surface and at least one circumferential leg depending from the annular portion that provides reinforcement for the depending leg.
Distribution orifice system for a dry agricultural product applicator
A distribution orifice system for a dry product applicator with a pneumatic conveyance system is provided which redirects product that drags along a surface(s) of a delivery line's wall(s) back into a main central or primary airflow portion that carries the product downstream through the pneumatic conveyance system. The distribution orifice system may deflect the agricultural product's particulate material radially inward away from the delivery line's wall while longitudinally advancing it in a downstream direction. The system may include a ring ramp that can be renewed by uninstalling the ring ramp, flipping it 180-degrees, and reinstalling it to present an intact ramp surface facing upstream and the wore ramped surface facing downstream.

Clamping collar with retaining loop
A clamping system for connecting a first tube and a second tube, the clamping system including a collar which includes a belt able to be clamped around clamping surfaces of the first and second tubes, the belt has a first and a second flank between which an internal recess able to receive the clamping surfaces is delimited. The collar carries at least one retaining loop disposed outside the belt. The loop has a first end fastened to the collar and a second end which is free and which is located on the outer side of the first flank. The loop is able to adopt a position of active retaining configuration in which its second end protrudes towards the axis of the collar relative to the edge of the first flank, and to be deformed relative to this active configuration so that the second end is moved radially outwardly.
