RETAINER AND PIPE JOINT USING RETAINER
A retainer allows reduction in a length in a direction of insertion of a flexible pipe and capable of being engaged with the flexible pipe without requiring motions of other members. The retainer is a retainer having a shape of a ring and used in a pipe joint, including: a plurality of pawls for getting into a valley of a corrugated pipe of a flexible pipe to be inserted into the pipe joint; a plurality of supports for contacting an inner surface of a pipe joint body housing the retainer in the pipe joint, the supports being continuous with corresponding ones of the pawls as viewed in a direction of a center axis of the ring of the retainer; and a connector connecting the pawls and the supports in a plurality of combinations continuous with each other. The connector is more elastically deformable than the pawls and the supports.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR EARTH-BONDING OF A PIPING SYSTEM
A connector assembly for earth-bonding of a corrugated stainless steel tubing system is disclosed. The collector assembly incorporates a fitting to hold a tubing at least at one opening of the fitting, a collet at inner side of the at least one opening to enable sealing of the tubing, and a nut configured on outer side of the one or more opening of the fitting. The connector assembly can include one or more holes positioned at pre-defined positions on the fitting or nut to electrically couple one or more earth-bonding means at the one or more holes. The earthing means can include an earthing cable coupled to the fitting or the nut by an earth-bonding clamp or a tightening screw, which can be connected to an electrical earth or electric zero potential for providing earth-bonding.
Configuration For Joining And Maintaining Aligned Engagement Between Sections Of Drainage Pipe
A reliable connection between the mating bell and spigot portions of adjoining pipe sections is proposed that utilizes a releasable interlocking configuration that maintains the connectivity between the two sections regardless of whether or not the gasket remains in position. Advantageously, the interlocking configuration requires only slight modifications to the bell and spigot portions of existing pipe, allowing for the configuration to be retro-fit onto existing pipe. One embodiment may utilize a set of locking (releasable) ties to join the pipe sections, and another embodiment may utilize a set of key members (releasable) that pass through aligned slots in the pipe sections.
Clamp ring type metal sealgas pipe joint
A clamp ring type metal seal gas pipe joint is connected to one end of a gas pipe, and includes a fitting joint, a nut, and a clamp ring. Axial contact surfaces of the clamp ring and the fitting joint are respectively provided with a convex portion configured in a convex V shape and a concave portion configured in a concave V shape matched with each other, so that an end part of the gas pipe is compressed and self-flared to form a sealing part when the fitting joint is tightened. In the process of tightening the nut and the fitting joint, the end part of the metal bellow is compressed and self-flared by the convex portion of the clamp ring and the concave portion of the fitting joint to form a cone surface to realize limit fixation and form a double sealing.
FLEXIBLE HOSE WTIH CLOSABLE CUFF, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND DEVICES CONTAINING
A flexible hose has a length of hollow tubing and a closed cuff. A method for manufacturing a flexible hose, has the steps of providing a length of flexible tubing, providing a closable cuff, aligning the closable cuff with the hollow tubing at a closed cuff location, and affixing the closable cuff to the length of hollow tubing by closing the closable cuff around the length of hollow tubing at the closed cuff location, thereby forming a flexible hose having a closed cuff. The method does not include the step of screwing the closable cuff onto the length of hollow tubing. Devices may also contain such a flexible hose.
CONNECTION DEVICE FOR A PERIPHERALLY RIBBED PIPE
The invention relates to a connection device for a peripherally ribbed pipe (4), comprising:—a pipe receptacle (1) having a receiving opening for receiving an end of the pipe (4); and—at least one catch element (3) for fastening the pipe (4) in the pipe receptacle (1). The pipe receptacle (1) has a longitudinal center plane (M), which extends through the receiving opening. The catch element (3) has a first point (S1), which allows movement of at least part of the catch element relative to the pipe receptacle (1), and a second point (S2), which is designed to engage in a corrugation trough (41) of the peripherally ribbed pipe (4). At least when the pipe (4) is inserted and fastened, the first point (S1) lies closer to the longitudinal center plane (M) than the second point (S2) does. The connection device according to the invention allows easy, leak-tight and secure fastening of a pipe.
CLOSURE LOAD PLUG
A closure assembly includes a section of duct, a duct coupler assembly, a closure load plug, and an end cap. The duct coupler assembly is fit against the section of duct. The closure load plug is mechanically connected to the duct coupler assembly. The end cap is mechanically connected to the closure load plug.
Connection structure of metal corrugated pipe
The present invention relates to a connection structure of a metal corrugated pipe, which is used to connect metal corrugated pipes with each other or to connect a metal corrugated pipe to a boiler combustor. The connection structure includes a first connection member having one side, in which an external thread is formed on an outer surface of the one side and an inner surface of the one side has a diameter gradually reduced to form an inclined surface; a second connection member formed on an inner surface thereof with an internal thread screw-coupled with the external thread; and a heat-resistant packing fitted on the outer surface of the metal corrugated pipe, in which a front end of the heat-resistant packing is compressed by the inclined surface as the first connection member is screw-coupled with the second connection member.
Bushings and fittings, tubing assemblies, and methods incorporating the same
One aspect of the invention provides an elastomeric bushing including: a plurality of rigid members defining one or more internal annular ribs and one or more elastic members. The rigid members include: a first internal annular rib adapted and configured to engage a corrugation valley of corrugated tubing; and one or more trailing lips adapted and configured to extend through a central opening of a nut and engage said nut, thereby preventing axial movement of the bushing when a corrugated tubing is advancing through the bushing. The one or more elastic members are adapted and configured to: hold the plurality of rigid members in a substantially annular configuration; allow the plurality of rigid members to expand to allow a corrugation peak to pass under the first internal rib; and hold the plurality of rigid members against the corrugated tubing so that the first internal rib lies within a corrugation valley.
Fitting for medical piping system
A fitting for use with metal, corrugated tubing having peaks and valleys, the fitting includes a nut configured to receive the tubing; a sealing member for placement in a valley of the tubing, the sealing member including a sealing surface; and an adaptor configured to be press fit into the nut, the adaptor including an adaptor sealing surface; wherein upon assembly, the adaptor is press fit into the nut and the tubing is compressed between the adaptor sealing surface and the sealing surface.
