Apparatus for attachment of accessories to processing equipment
A temperature-controlled fluid processing system with accessory attachment mechanism includes an accessory annular ring feature a mounting surface and a tapered surface sloping toward a central axis of the ring feature and away from the mounting surface, and engaging components on the primary device, including concentric annular member and rotation plate. The annular member includes spaced apart through holes housing spring biased pins. The rotation plate surrounds the annular member, and includes one or more ramped inner surface(s). The plate is rotatable between an unattached position wherein the ramped surfaces apply no radial inward force to the spring-biased pins, and an attached position wherein each ramped surface displaces a pin inward through its corresponding through hole such that the conical tip of the spring-biased pin engages the tapered surface of the ring feature, thereby immobilizing the accessory with respect to a head unit of the fluid processing device.
Subsea Pipeline Connector Method
The method of providing a connector suited for quickly connecting and testing joints of pipe for a subsea pipeline and similar applications by concurrently locking, preloading, sealing and testing of the connection to eliminate the usual sequential time requirements for each of these operations. Additionally, time for coating and X-Ray inspection of the welded connection in critical path time are eliminated as the welding and coating operations are able to be done on shore in non-critical path time.
Pressure pipe connection method and method for constructing pressure pipe with flange
Provided is a pressure pipe connection structure that reduces man-hours for machining one or more pressure pipes and does not require high machining precision. Multiple arc members form a ring shape that makes a circle by matching the end faces thereof to each other. Non-penetrating holes may be provided on the outer circumference of the arc members. The ring formed by the multiple arc members has an inner diameter that is smaller than the outer diameter and larger than the inner diameter of a pressure pipe. A cylindrical sleeve has an inner cylindrical surface inside which the entire outer circumferences of arc members are fitted into a hollow internal space, into which respective one or more pressure pipes are inserted from one or more opposing entrances; and multiple through holes, which penetrate from the outside and are provided with female thread ridges. The one or more pressure pipes are cut to a certain length that is suited to the placement site and a groove is grooves cut in the corresponding pressure pipe. The arc members are fitted into the groove, and the arc members are positioned on an inner cylindrical surface by inserting the one or more pressure pipes into a sleeve, the respective through holes and non-penetrating holes are made to communicate with each other, and the one or more pressure pipes are fixed using bolts.
SLIP LOCK CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A slip lock connector system with a slip lock connector that couples a first annular body to a second annular body. The slip lock connector includes a first tapered surface and a second tapered surface. The first tapered surface and the second tapered surface slide over each other to drive the first and second tapered surfaces in radially opposite directions. The movement of the first and second tapered surfaces in radially opposite directions couples the slip lock connector to the second annular body.

Pipe joint
A pipe joint for coupling to at least one pipe is disclosed in the present invention. The pipe joint includes a main body and at least one positioning socket. The main body has a runner and at least one opening communicated with the runner. The runner has an insertion area adjacent to the opening. The positioning socket has a head, an inserting portion, a pipe channel, a radial threaded hole and a bolt. The inserting portion is inserted into the runner via the opening. The pipe channel runs through the head and the inserting portion in an axial direction of the positioning socket. The threaded hole is formed on the head and communicated with the pipe channel. The bolt is adapted to engage with the threaded hole for abutting against the outer surface of the pipe.
Connector for a subsea drilling riser
The invention concerns a pipe joint formed between a pin section (10) and a box section (20); the pin and box sections each having a tubular pipe section, engaging at respective first ends in end-to-end arrangement and having a seal element partially therebetween, the box section including a collar extending from the first end, the collar being generally cylindrical, axially aligned with the tubular box pipe section and having an inner diameter of the same size as the outer diameter of the pin section, enabling the collar to be placed about the pin section, the pin and the box sections being secured together by means of a plurality of securing means housed in the collar and actuable to exert radial pressure to urge the pin and box into scaling arrangement, the collar (22) of the box section (20) including a test port, comprising a housing atrium, defined by an atrium wall, housing a test plug (60); the housing atrium (61) and the seal element (53) being fluidly linked by a box conduit; the plug comprising a plug body and a plug seal housed between the plug body and the housing atrium wall to seal the housing atrium from atmosphere and having therethrough a plug conduit connectable at a first end to a pressure test apparatus and fluidly linkable at a second end to the box conduit; the plug being moveable between a first position forming a fluid link between the plug conduit and the box conduit, and a second position closing the fluid link.
