The annular securing member has a flange portion that contacts and secures the second tubular element axially relative to the first tubular element while also allowing the second tubular element to rotate relative to the first tubular element and the annular securing member. An annular sealing member is located around the first portion of the second tubular element to provide an axial seal along the adapter.

Coupling Permitting Longitudinal Axis Rotation of Pipe Elements
20240288104 · 2024-08-29 ·

A coupling permitting rotation of pipe elements about their longitudinal axes includes a first ring attachable to a first of the pipe elements. The first ring has a first collar projecting outwardly therefrom and defining a low friction bearing surface. A housing defines a bore therethrough surrounding a longitudinal axis arranged coaxially with the bore. The housing has a first end and a second end oppositely disposed from one another. The first end is adapted to receive the first ring coaxially within the bore. The housing comprises a first shoulder and a first channel. When the first ring is received within the bore at the first end, the first collar is positionable between the first shoulder and the first channel. The bearing surface is engageable with the first shoulder. Engagement between the bearing surface and the first shoulder allows rotation of the first ring with respect to the housing.

A hose coupling device is disclosed. The device is an improved hose coupling that allows the hose to move more freely than a traditional coupling. The hose coupling device comprises a sleeve component with a female hose thread on one end and a male hose thread on the other end. The sleeve component further comprises a bearing above and below an O-ring water seal. The hose coupling component rotates independently from the hand nozzle component and eliminates the twist/kink of the hose when walking around spraying water.

Rotary seal for a central tire inflation system

A rotary seal arrangement for use with a central tire inflation system is provided. The rotary seal arrangement comprises a stationary portion, a rotating portion, a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, and a first bushing portion. The stationary portion defines a first air passage therethrough and the rotating portion defines a second air passage therethrough. The first sealing ring and the second sealing ring are each disposed on one of the rotating portion and the stationary portion. The first bushing is disposed on one of the rotating portion and the stationary portion. The first bushing is in dynamic sealing engagement with the first sealing ring. The stationary portion, the rotating portion, the first sealing ring, and the second sealing ring form a sealed cavity that facilitates fluid communication between the first air passage and the second air passage.
