FLUID HANDLING DEVICES
20200282197 · 2020-09-10 ·

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured for use in fluid systems for the purpose of providing a low-spill quick disconnect. Particular embodiments of these fluid coupling devices can be configured to improve medical fluid handling equipment because the fluid coupling devices can be connected and disconnected (e.g., multiple times) while minimizing fluid spillage.

Adjustable pipe coupling

A ball and socket coupling that avoids threaded tightening-components instead has telescoped components that are bonded together. Such a coupling has a hollow seat-formed link, a counterpart hollow ball-formed link, and a socket-forming collar. Both the links have fitting extensions. The ball-formed link has a spherical bulb at one end as the seat-formed link has a conforming, spherically-widening seat surface at one end. The socket-forming collar has a centrally apertured web with a conforming spherically-narrowing socket surface at one end of an axially elongated sleeve. The coupling is adapted to be assembled and bonded into solid rigidity by workers in the field with the spherical bulb bonded to and clamped between the seat-formed link's spherically-widening seat surface and the collar's spherically-narrowing socket surface. In addition, the collar's elongated sleeve is bonded internally to the seat-an outer sidewall of the seat-formed link's seat-formed end.

RACCORD ETANCHE A GEOMETRIE VARIABLE AMELIORE

Disclosed is a variable-geometry sealed coupling of the type of that connecting together two elements each arranged with a passage hole, the sealed coupling including two hollow bodies preformed to form a pivot connection, with the axis of this pivot connection making it possible to switch the axes of the passage holes from a straight position to a bent position, remarkable in that at least one of the bodies is preformed in such a way that the axis of the passage hole of the element with which it cooperates is offset with respect to the axis of the pivot connection, and is therefore not secant nor is it confounded with the axis of the pivot connection that it forms with the other body in such a way that the rotation of the bodies together is facilitated due to the out-of-roundness of the axes.

Rotary joint

First circumferential grooves (first compressed air supply grooves, first pressure oil supply grooves, and a first coolant supply groove) formed on a first sliding surface, and second circumferential grooves (second compressed air supply grooves, second pressure oil supply grooves, and a second coolant supply groove) formed on a second sliding surface are formed in a rotary joint to be opposite to each other when seen from a radial direction of the rotary joint. In one pair of the opposite first circumferential groove and second circumferential groove, a type and a use of a fluid flowing in the first circumferential groove is the same as a type and a use of a fluid flowing in the second circumferential groove.

SEAL CONFIGURATION FOR TOP DRIVE SWIVEL APPARATUS AND METHOD

For use with a top drive power unit supported for connection with a well string in a well bore to selectively impart longitudinal and/or rotational movement to the well string, a feeder for supplying a pumpable substance such as cement and the like from an external supply source to the interior of the well string in the well bore without first discharging it through the top drive power unit including a mandrel extending through a sleeve which is sealably and rotatably supported thereon for relative rotation between the sleeve and mandrel. The mandrel and sleeve have flow passages for communicating the pumpable substance from an external source to discharge through the sleeve and mandrel and into the interior of the well string below the top drive power unit. The unit can include a packing injection system and novel seal configuration.

Multi-axis rotatable coupling element for a hose or pipe
10619775 · 2020-04-14 · ·

A multi-axis rotatable coupling element for a hose or pipe comprising a rotation assembly coupled between a female fitting and a male fitting. The female fitting has a first female threaded end connector for attachment to a hose or spigot, and a second end connector. The male fitting has a third male threaded end for attachment to a hose or spigot, and a fourth end connector. The rotation assembly consists of a first and second rotation member and a single continuous internal channel. The first and second rotation member are rotatable about a first and second axis of rotation, respectively, and have a first and second longitudinal bore for conveying fluid, respectively. The first and second axes of rotation may be different. The single continuous internal channel comprises at least the first and second longitudinal bore and conveys a fluid between the female fitting and the male fitting.

CLEANING APPARATUS

A cleaning apparatus comprises a cleaner module provided with a module mounting portion, a wireless cleaning module removably mounted to the cleaner module, and a wired cleaning module provided with a canister, a connection hose connected from the canister to the cleaner, and a connector provided in the connection hose to be removably mounted to the cleaner module. A wired cleaning mode using the wired cleaning module and a wireless cleaning mode using the wireless cleaning module are selectively operated by mounting one of the connector of the wired cleaning module and the wireless cleaning module, to the module mounting portion.
