Rotary union with integral sensor array
A rotary union that includes rotating and non-rotating machine components, each having a sealing ring, which can together form a mechanical face seal. A rotor disposed on the rotating machine component includes one or more magnets. A sensor array disposed in the housing includes a plurality of sensing elements that are integrated with a control device, a communication device, and a power storage device. The sensor array further includes a magnetic pickup coil disposed to closely overlap the outer periphery of the rotor. When the rotating machine component rotates, the magnet creates a rotating magnetic field that cooperates with the magnetic pickup coil to produce electrical power to operate the sensor array.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides an irrigation system for crop irrigation, and especially a centre-pivot irrigation system. The system comprises: a pivot assembly comprising a frame supporting an inlet pipe assembly for inlet of water from a water supply to the irrigation system, and a span assembly for connection to the pivot assembly to extend radially therefrom across a field. The inlet pipe assembly comprises an upper pipe segment and a lower pipe segment. The upper pipe segment is mounted in the frame for rotation about a pivot axis relative to the lower pipe segment. The span assembly comprises a distribution pipeline for fluid connection with the inlet pipe assembly to convey the water along the span assembly for distributing the water to a plurality of sprinkler heads located along the span assembly for applying the water to the field.
SWIVEL JOINT FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A swivel joint for a construction machine can detect a slewing angle of an upper slewing body and has a high maintainability. The swivel joint includes a body, a stem, a lower cover, and a sensor unit. The sensor unit includes: a rotation angle sensor fixedly attached to an upper end of the stem; and a rod having a distal end provided with a detection target to be detected by the rotation angle sensor and a proximal end fastened to the lower cover. The stem is formed with: a rod insertion hole for receiving the rod to be inserted therethrough; and a stem-side drain oil passage for allowing a drain oil to pass therethrough.
Linear motion rotary union
Provided is a linear movable rotary union including a driving shaft comprising a plurality of fluid supply paths; a hollow middle housing surrounding an outside of the driving shaft and comprising a plurality of first through holes in a sidewall; a plurality of first sealing members provided between the middle housing and the driving shaft to prevent leakage of a fluid; a hollow outer housing surrounding an outside of the middle housing and comprising a plurality of second through holes in a sidewall; and a plurality of second sealing members provided between the middle housing and the outer housing to prevent leakage of the fluid, and wherein the driving shaft is installed to be capable of rotational motion in the middle housing, and the middle housing is installed to be capable of reciprocating motion in an axial direction in the outer housing.
Fluid swivel
A fluid swivel includes at least two separate fluid paths extending therethrough, configured to convey fluid across a hinge. The fluid swivel includes a first end configured to be coupled to a first pair of lines on a first side of the hinge, a second end configured to be coupled to a second pair of lines on a second side of the hinge, a joint between the first end and the second end, a first pair of tubes extending from the first end to the joint, and a second pair of tubes extending from the joint to the second end, wherein the first and second tubes lie in a plane that is generally perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the joint.
