MULTI-AXIS ROTATABLE COUPLING ELEMENT FOR A HOSE OR PIPE
A multi-axis rotatable coupling element for a hose or pipe comprising a rotation assembly coupled between a female fitting and a male fitting. The female fitting has a first female threaded end connector for attachment to a hose or spigot, and a second end connector. The male fitting has a third male threaded end for attachment to a hose or spigot, and a fourth end connector. The rotation assembly consists of a first and second rotation member and a single continuous internal channel. The first and second rotation member are rotatable about a first and second axis of rotation, respectively, and have a first and second longitudinal bore for conveying fluid, respectively. The first and second axes of rotation may be different. The single continuous internal channel comprises at least the first and second longitudinal bore and conveys a fluid between the female fitting and the male fitting.
A COIN HANDLING APPARATUS
A coin handling apparatus having: a first coin position; a second coin position; and a pipe for transporting coins from the first to the second coin position. The pipe is jointed and has a rigid, elongate element having a straight, elongate portion and a curved portion at a first end of the straight, elongate portion. The pipe further includes a rigid, curved element. The curved portion and the curved element are connected to define a continuous passageway through the curved element and the elongate element. The curved element, at least before mounting of the pipe in the coin handling apparatus, is rotatable in relation to the elongate element, such that an angle between a first opening of the curved element and a direction extending along the straight elongate portion is variable.
Dynamic sleeve seal fittings
A dynamic sleeve seal fitting including a first sleeve having a tongue portion, a second sleeve having a groove configured to receive the tongue portion, and a first seal member coupled to at least one of the tongue portion or the groove. The first seal being configured to generate a seal between the first sleeve and the second sleeve in response to inserting the tongue portion into the groove.
POSITIVE RETENTION EXPANSION JOINTS
An expansion joint for a jet engine, the expansion joint including a pipe defining a proximal end having a first engagement structure, wherein the pipe is part of an air system of the jet engine; and an engine hardware coupled with the proximal end of the pipe, the engine hardware having a second engagement structure engaged with the first engagement structure to couple the pipe and engine hardware relative to one another, wherein one of the first and second engagement structures comprises one or more spring fingers, and wherein the other of the first and second engagement structures comprises a ridge extending along a circumferential direction of such engagement structure.
Linear motion rotary union
Provided is a linear movable rotary union including a driving shaft comprising a plurality of fluid supply paths; a hollow middle housing surrounding an outside of the driving shaft and comprising a plurality of first through holes in a sidewall; a plurality of first sealing members provided between the middle housing and the driving shaft to prevent leakage of a fluid; a hollow outer housing surrounding an outside of the middle housing and comprising a plurality of second through holes in a sidewall; and a plurality of second sealing members provided between the middle housing and the outer housing to prevent leakage of the fluid, and wherein the driving shaft is installed to be capable of rotational motion in the middle housing, and the middle housing is installed to be capable of reciprocating motion in an axial direction in the outer housing.
Extendable spool
An extendable spool is disclosed. The length of the extendable spool is able to continuously varied. The extendable spool accounts for length variances in flow lines by extending the flow line rather than redirecting the flow. Because the flow direction does not make any turns, erosion is minimized on both the extendable spool and downstream parts. The extendable spool is readily scalable from small diameters to large diameters. Because of this, it requires fewer lines and therefore less setup time to account for length differences between large diameter lines.
Coupler
A coupler, adapted for being assembled and connected with a water sprayer, includes a sleeve and a coupling member adapted for being assembled and connected with the water sprayer. The coupling member and the sleeve are sleeved with each other and respectively have a first corresponding end and a second corresponding end which correspond to each other. The first corresponding end and the second corresponding end are adapted to be engaged with each other, so that the sleeve and the coupling member are capable of being mutually locked and into a non-rotatable state through the engagement and rotation meshing operation. The sleeve can be disengaged with the coupling member through axially moving the sleeve so that the sleeve is allowed to be axially rotatable.
COMPOSITE FLUID TRANSFER CONDUIT
A composite fluid transfer conduit is provided. The conduit includes a first end portion, a second end portion and a main body portion between the first and second end portions. At least one of the first and second end portions is an end portion comprising a circumferential groove in a radially outer surface of the fluid transfer conduit, an axial end face, and a transition surface between the axial end face and the circumferential groove. The transition surface is configured such that, for any angle of impact of the end portion with a planar impact surface, a resultant impact force on the end portion is directed away from the circumferential groove.
Adjustable flowline connections
A tubular connection system includes a connector coupled to a tubular segment, the connector having a first bore with a first bore diameter and a mating connector coupled to the connector, the mating connector having a second bore with a second bore diameter. The connector includes a plurality of connector lugs extending into the first bore. The connector also includes a plurality of gaps, respective gaps of the plurality of gaps are arranged between adjacent connector lugs of the plurality of connector lugs in a first alternating pattern. The plurality of connectors lugs are arranged in connector lug rows. The mating connector includes a plurality of mating lugs radially outward. The mating connector also includes a plurality of openings, respective openings of the plurality of openings are arranged between adjacent mating lugs of the plurality of mating lugs. The plurality of mating lugs are arranged in mating lug rows.
Expansion and movement joints
Expansion and movement joints are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a collar having a first aperture extending therethrough to receive a conduit, and a guide to receive the collar, where the guide has a second aperture that defines an inner surface of the guide, and where the inner surface of the guide is larger than an outer surface of the collar to define a gap therebetween.
