Reinforced hose end connector having a smooth surface inboard end length
An improved end connector for a high-pressure reinforced hose that is subjected to high frequency of pressure cycles and that provides for a low compression deformation of the reinforced hose is discussed. This unique end connector has a stem and ferrule that includes a gripper or cable lock region near a coupler, or outboard end and a substantially smooth length on an outer diameter (OD) of the stem and ferrule that extends from about the gripper region to a hose receiving, or inboard, end.
Hose Structure with Reinforced Pressure Sleeve
Disclosed is a reinforced hose comprising a pressure sleeve concentrically installed over an outer surface of the hose tubing, either above or below the ferrule. An inner diameter of the pressure sleeve is larger than an outer diameter of the hose tubing and the first terminal end of the pressure sleeve is longitudinally aligned with the first open end of the hose tubing. The longitudinal length of the pressure sleeve is greater than that of the ferrule and extends beyond a proximal end of the ferrule. A first interference joint couples the outer surface of the hose tubing to an inner surface of the pressure sleeve, the first interference joint comprising a contact patch located between the second terminal end of the pressure sleeve and the proximal end of the ferrule.
PRESS FITTING FOR A PIPE JOINT AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE
The invention relates to a press fitting for a pipe connection, comprising a fitting body for connecting the press fitting to a pipe, a press sleeve fixed to the fitting body and having a substantially cylindrical pressing portion and at least one projecting element which delimits the substantially cylindrical pressing portion in the axial direction, and a tubular banderole which surrounds the substantially cylindrical pressing region of the pressing sleeve, wherein the tubular banderole is arranged rotatably relative to a surface of the pressing sleeve, is held in the cylindrical pressing region by the at least one projecting element and is at least partially destroyed when the pressing sleeve is pressed with a pressing tool. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a press fitting.
WATER CHAMBER COVER FOR A WATER COOLING SYSTEM OF AN ELECTRIC MACHINE
A water chamber cover for connecting a water hose to a water chamber bottom plate of a directly water-cooled stator bar, having a peripheral groove, which is open on a side facing away from the water chamber and which is designed to hold the water hose. A method is for assembling a cooling water circuit for a directly water-cooled stator bar.
Plastics pipeline with a support sleeve
The invention relates to a plastics pipeline comprising at least one pipeline end (1) and at least one support ring (2). It was the underlying object of the invention to improve a plastics pipeline of the type described at the outset in such a way that the support sleeve or the support ring (2) remains firmly connected to the pipeline even in the event of the plastics pipeline being stored in the presence of high air humidity and temperature. This object is achieved by virtue of the fact that the blow molded pipe section (1) runs through the support ring (2) and, as viewed radially, is pressed from the inside outward against the support ring (2), wherein the pipe section (1) engages around the support ring (2), such that the support ring (2), with its outer surface, and the pipe section (1), with its outer surface, are substantially in alignment.
ADAPTER FOR CARBONIC GAS TUBES
Adapter for carbon dioxide tubes including a tube provided with an inner channel with hollow ends, having an end that has an annular shoulder with a flexible surface provided with outer ribs that fits into the connection area of a hose, which is, in turn, associated with the carbon dioxide tube, by overlapping and deformation, and the outer ribs of the tube fit into the ribs arranged in the inner channel of the annular shaped sleeve.
Connector assembly and methods of use
A connector assembly may include an elastomeric connector comprising an approximately perpendicular flange at a distal end thereof and an opening therethrough; and a rigid compression fitting having an opening aligned with the opening of the elastomeric connector. The connector assembly may be used with a converter hose. Related methods include attaching the converter hose to a shower head, faucet or spigot.
MOLDABLE FLUID COUPLERS AND RELATED FLUID CONNECTORS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A molded fluid coupler defines a continuous external surface and an internal bore extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The molded fluid coupler has an external conduit barb positioned adjacent the proximal end, and a piston positioned adjacent the distal end. The molded fluid coupler also has a proximal rib positioned distally of the conduit barb and a distal rib distally spaced from the proximal rib to define an annular gap positioned between the proximal rib and the distal rib. The piston extends distally of the distal rib and defines an external sealing surface lacking a parting line. In some embodiments, an external surface extending between the proximal end and the barb lacks a parting line.
Flexible pipe joint
A method and apparatus for securing a flexible pipe to a further flexible pipe in an end-to-end configuration, wherein the apparatus includes and the method utilizes an elongate tubular element having a first and second end and an outer surface comprising a raised central region. At least one vent passage extends at least partially across the raised central region.
Coupling part for a hose coupling
A coupling part for a hose coupling, in particular for high-pressure hydraulic lines, and a hose coupling having such coupling part, has a connection head for connecting to a fitting, and, formed on the connection head, a press-fit nipple, which is intended for accommodating a hose-end portion, on which a pushed-on hose-end portion can be fastened in a sealing manner by pressing action by an at least partially sleeve-form press-fit ferrule enclosing the hose-end portion, and which has a rib profile including ribs bounded by grooves. The rib profile has at least two profile portions. The grooves of the first profile portion, which is directed towards the connection head, have a symmetrical cross section and the grooves of the second profile portion have an asymmetrical cross section and a larger groove volume than the grooves of the first profile portion.
