Method and apparatus to assemble a high purity liquid distribution system
12023873 · 2024-07-02 · ·

A method and apparatus for assembling a high purity liquid distribution system is described. A distal end portion of the tube is heated then pushed over a sleeve so that the distal end portion can have a shrink seal fit over the sleeve to mitigate accidental or inadvertent pull out of the tube from a fitting. Other benefits are also achieved such as minimal flow restriction of the liquid flowing through the joint and the tube.

The present invention is directed to a magnetic duct cleaning hose clamp for attaching an airflow hose to a HVAC duct to be cleaned. The improved duct cleaning hose clamp includes: a planar clamp base; a plurality of magnets arranged around the periphery of the back surface of the clamp base; a compressible sealing member located between the magnetic attachment pads on the back surface of the clamp base; at least one handle portion extending from the front surface of the clamp base; a duct cleaning hose mounting portion protruding from the front surface of the clamp base; and a duct cleaning hose mounting portion defining an airflow aperture which is in fluid communication with a remote HVAC duct cleaning base unit. The present invention further includes magnetic duct access door of similar construction to the clamp. The magnetic access door provides for frequent access to a variety of different kinds of duct. The design of the improved clamp and the improved access door allow for creation of an efficient magnetic attraction seal with a metallic duct and easy manual removal of the clamps or access doors of the invention by tilting the clamp or access door via the handles on its front surface.

Resin-made pipe joint

A resin-made pipe joint with enhanced sealing property between a joint body and sleeve. A sealing portion which seals between an inner circumferential surface of an inserting portion of a sleeve and an outer circumferential surface of an inner cylinder portion is formed by press-inserting an inserting portion into a groove portion of the joint body. When the inserting portion is press-inserted into the groove portion, a space is formed between a body cylinder portion located opposite to an opening portion of the groove portion in the axial direction, and the projection end of the inserting portion. After completing press insertion of the inserting portion into the groove portion, in a section including axis of the inner cylinder portion, a region in the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylinder portion facing the space forms an angle of 5 to 15 to the axis of the inner cylinder portion.

Connect structure for semiconductor processing equipment

A connect structure for semiconductor processing equipment includes a housing configured to mate a deformable pipe with a non-deformable pipe. The housing includes a first annular sidewall to receive the deformable pipe and a second annular sidewall defining a first thread structure. An annular bead is connected to the first annular sidewall to flexibly deform the deformable pipe toward the non-deformable pipe structure when the first thread structure rotatably engages a second thread structure of the non-deformable pipe.

Sealing member and pipe joint

An inner ring 4 of a pipe joint 1 includes a cylindrical body portion 5 having a communication hole 5a for providing communication between flow passage holes 2c and 8a of a joint body 2 and a tube 8, and an annular primary sealing portion 11 projecting from a radially inner side of an axially outer end portion of the body portion 5 toward an axially outer side and to be press-fitted into an annular primary sealing groove 2d formed on the joint body 2. The primary sealing portion 11 is formed so as to be tapered from an axially inner end thereof toward an axially outer end thereof in an axial cross-sectional view, and has a flat surface 11c extending from a radially outer end 11b of the axially outer end thereof toward the radially inner side.

What is disclosed is an improved irrigation-system-coupling device, with a length-adjustment feature, that is designed to provide a coupling between polymeric irrigation-system hosing/tubing and a water-supply valve, such as solenoid-operated control/supply valves commonly used in automated irrigation systems. The length-adjustment configuration allows for easy installation in the field without the need to splice additional lengths of hosing/tubing in situations where various environmental conditions and/or necessitated repairs to or removal of sections of hoses/tubing has caused an extra gap between a supply-valve manifold housing and the end of the existing hose/tubing.

HOSE CONNECTION WITH AN ELASTOMER HOSE

The invention concerns an elastomer hose to connect to a nozzle, wherein the elastomer hose comprises a circumferential edge at least at a longitudinal end. In one exemplary approach a support structure protrudes from a first circumferential section of the circumferential edge and by which the longitudinal end of the elastomer hose is connectable in a positively form-locking manner to a complementary counter-support structure on the nozzle. Additionally, a grip structure protruding from the circumferential edge in a second circumferential section, which is offset from the first circumferential section in a circumferential direction, at which the longitudinal end, is manually grippable when connecting the elastomer hose to the nozzle axially pullable up on to the nozzle.

A detachable faucet connector can be used with a faucet to allow easy connection of hoses to the faucet. The detachable faucet connector can include an aerator, a funnel, and a hose adapter. The aerator can connect to a faucet to replace the faucet's existing aerator. The funnel can be inserted in to the aerator prior to the installation of the aerator in the faucet. The hose adapter can be connected to the funnel. The hose adapter can be attached to a hose.

HIGH PRESSURE HOSE COUPLER

A high pressure hose coupler has a tubular connector having internal threads at a distal end for engaging a hose around the hose's external surface. These teeth grip into the hose's outer soft layer, and the hose it typically steel-reinforced. An internal collet fits inside the hose, and engages the connector at a proximal end to be retained in place. A hollow insert has a distal end configured to be inserted within the collet to press the collet radially outwardly so that the hose wall is pressed between the connector and the collet. The insert proximal end is configured to engage the collet at threads on collet internal threads. The hose is gripped very tightly by action of the insert pressing against the tapered collet, in turn against the restraining force of the connector around the end of the hose.

FLUID FITTING

A fluid fitting includes a nut, a sleeve, and a union. The union and the nut may include corresponding stops. Corresponding stops may engage with each other when the nut is sufficiently connected with the union. A method of designing a fluid fitting including a union may include determining a gauge diameter of the union, determining a plane perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the union that includes a center point of the gauge diameter, determining a point of intersection of threads of the union with the perpendicular plane, and/or determining a position of a stop according to an angle from the point of intersection.
