Conduit With Connector And Assembly Thereof
A fluid supply line is provided to reduce the labor and cost required for dripline system installations by providing predetermined fitting locations where driplines can be attached. The supply line consists of a conduit having a side wall, a connector extending through the side wall of the conduit, the connector having a conduit connecting segment extending outside the conduit and an inlet segment extending into the conduit, and the inlet segment being connected to the side wall of the conduit.

Molding assembly
A method of manufacturing a component (124) having a main body (116) and at least one ring sleeve (118) through a molding assembly (100), the method comprising: providing a mold (102) having an inlet (115) and defining a hollow portion (H); placing at least one core to form a free-space (104, 106) within the component (124) inside the mold (102) to bifurcate the hollow portion (H) into a first cavity and a second cavity; pouring a molding material (117) inside the mold (102) through the inlet (115); allowing the molding material (117) to set inside the mold (102) around the core within the first cavity and the second cavity to form a main body (116) and at least one ring sleeve (118) of the component (124); connecting the first cavity and the second cavity and forming at least one first bond and one second bond (130, 132, 134, 136) between the main body (116) and the at least one ring sleeve (118); and removing the at least one core from at least part of the hollow portion (H) within the mold (102); characterized in that: providing the core with at least one recess allowing the molding material (117) to flow therethrough such that on withdrawing the core out of the mold (102), at least one first bond (130, 132) breaks and on withdrawing the core outside the mold (102), at least one second bond (134, 136) breaks.
Motor vehicle assembly unit and method for the production of the motor vehicle assembly unit
A motor vehicle assembly unit having a connector, in particular a quick connector, and having a motor vehicle fluid line, wherein the connector includes an insertion end for inserting the fluid line, wherein there is a securing spike on the insertion end, which is encompassed by an outer sleeve. An annular insertion space for the fluid line or a fluid line end of the fluid line is disposed between the securing spike and the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve is connected to the securing spike by means of at least one break-away element, that breaks when the fluid line is inserted in the annular insertion space, such that the outer sleeve can be slid onto the securing spike, or further slid onto the securing spike from, or with, the fluid line.
Tube coupling
A tube connector having a body and a coupler is provided. The body defines a fluid flow path therethrough. The coupler has an annular body including an outer wall and an inner surface. An end of the outer wall is mounted on the body at one end of the flow path. The inner surface is supported by the outer wall and defines a central opening for receiving an end portion of a tube. The coupler includes a barb protruding radially inward from the inner surface to engage the end portion of the tube to secure the tube to the coupler. The coupler includes a protrusion extending radially outward from the outer wall.
HOSE JOINT
The hose joint includes a guide part provided in a nipple and provided to face an inner surface of a hose body having flexibility, a tightening member having a tapered surface provided to face an outer peripheral surface of the guide part and have a diameter which gradually becomes larger in an inserting direction of the hose body, a sleeve provided to be reciprocatable in each of the inserting direction of the hose body and an opposite hose pullout direction along the tightening member and be capable of elastic diameter expansion/contraction deformation in a radial direction, and an elastic member provided so as to press the sleeve in the hose pullout direction along the tapered surface.
Methods of using compression collars for coupling a tube to a tube fitting
A method for coupling a tube to a tube fitting includes radially outwardly expanding a tubular compression collar from a constricted state to an expanded state, the compression collar having a throughway extending there through and being made of a resiliently flexible material. An end of the tube is inserted within the throughway of the expanded compression collar, the tube bounding a passage. A tube fitting is inserted within the passage of the tube. The compression collar is allowed to resiliently rebound back towards the constricted state so that the compression collar pushes the tube against the tube fitting.
Fitting for Use with a Refrigerant Hose
An example fitting includes: a head portion; and a barbed portion extending axially from the head portion, wherein the barbed portion includes: at least one distal barb having a curved edge, and at least one proximal barb having a sharp edge.
