Liquid manure hose coupler
A hose coupler optimally configured for use with a liquid manure drag hose has a pair of hose coupler ends that are joined using a hose coupler having minimal protrusions and diameter. Each of the hose coupler ends is provided with a plurality of ribs and grooves. These ribs and grooves are arranged to mate with corresponding grooves and ribs formed in a collar. For each hose coupler end, a pair of collars are preferably used to secure a hose thereto. The ribs and grooves are preferably configured to secure the hose and distribute tension applied to the hose throughout the coupler end, while ensuring that the hose wall integrity is maintained. The resulting coupler is compatible with heavier drag hose, will not interfere with or harm the hose during winding and unreeling, and will produce less drag and be less likely to produce interference with obstacles in the field.
Pipe connector with annular communication
A compression type pipe connector for joining a pipe segment to another node in a pipeline or another pipeline segment. The connector has pipe connector compression segments that are extricably and interlockingly connected to one another to form a fluid-tight seal therebetween. The pipe connector is configured to form an outer bore through which fluids transported, disposed or trapped within an annulus formed within a multi-layered flexible pipeline can flow through while providing a central bore through which hydrocarbons transported through the inner diameter of the pipeline can flow. The segments of the pipe connector are connected together via vertical and horizontal compression bolts to effect a fluid-tight seal between the connector segments.

Hose coupling
The hose coupler has a sleeve defining a passageway between a first hose section and a second hose section, and includes a plurality of barbs each having an angled surface. In an embodiment, a collar can be fitted over the hose after it is pulled up onto the sleeve. The collar also has a plurality of barbs with angled surfaces corresponding to the angle of the barbs on the sleeve. The collar is adapted to substantially surround the first hose section disposed over the plurality of the barbs on the sleeve and the each barb on the sleeve generally aligns with the each barb on the collar.

Reverse barb for medical biopharma tubing
A fluid connector for securing a length of flexible tubing to a barbed fluid fitting is disclosed. The flexible tubing extends along a longitudinal direction. The fluid connector includes a single piece clamping body have a plurality of generally cylindrical clamping members spaced apart along the longitudinal direction, and a clasp. The clamping body defines a circumferential opening, and is flexed to further open the circumferential opening and receive the length of the flexible tubing over the barbed fluid fitting within the clamping body. The clasp closes the clamping body by closing the circumferential opening after the length of the flexible tubing over the barbed fluid fitting is received within the clamping body to form a fluid tight connection between the flexible tubing and the barbed fluid fitting. A fluid system including the length of flexible tubing, the barbed fluid fitting, and the fluid connector is also disclosed.
