Outdoor apparatus
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a bi-directional conduit system including a core configured to traverse a container wall and having independent, substantially parallel lumens and a fitting fluidly connected to each lumen on each side of the wall. In an illustrative example, the conduit system may include at least one valve configured to selectively restrict fluid flow in at least one lumen. The core may be flexible. A coupling assembly may be configured to releasably couple the core to the wall. Apparatus and methods further relate to a system including a base module with a control input and a fluid transport system including an impeller powered by the base module to convey fluid via a conduit in response to the control input, wherein in a stowage mode, the base module is configured to store the conduit and to mechanically support, releasably coupled, the impeller to the base module.
Quick connect assembly with verification tab
A quick connector (QC) assembly comprises a housing defining a fluid passageway extending along an axis at an open end, a retainer ring disposed in the open end and defining a slot, a retainer clip secured to the housing and at least partially disposed within the fluid passageway at the open end, and a verification tab disposed within the slot. The tab is slideably displaceable along the slot between a negative position, where the tab is completely disposed within the housing, and a positive position, where a portion of the tab is visibly disposed above an exterior surface of the housing.
Conduit connector and method of construction thereof
A conduit connector and method of construction thereof is provided. The conduit connector includes a body having a through passage extending between open opposite ends and a tubular male port section extending axially to an end face of one of the ends. The tubular male section has an outer surface configured for connection to a tubular conduit and an inner surface bounding at least a portion of the through passage. The end face has an outer annular first surface extending radially inwardly from the outer surface and an inner annular second surface extending radially inwardly from the annular first surface toward the inner surface. The annular second surface forms a counterbore that is recessed axially a first distance from the annular first surface, wherein an annular bead extends from one of the annular second surface or the inner surface, with the entirety of the annular bead remaining recessed below the annular first surface.
FAUCET WITH INTEGRATED PUSH-TO-CONNECT FITTING
A valve assembly includes a body and a push-to-connect fitting. The body includes an end segment that defines a fluid outlet and a connector portion. The connector portion includes an inner peripheral wall and an outer peripheral wall. The inner peripheral wall has a first exterior surface, and includes a first portion and a second portion. The first exterior surface has a first outer diameter in the first portion and a second outer diameter in the second portion that is greater than the first outer diameter such that a stepped profile is formed along the first exterior surface. The inner peripheral wall defines a fluid inlet. The outer peripheral wall extends from the inner peripheral wall and at least partly around the fluid inlet. The outer peripheral wall has a second exterior surface with a third outer diameter that is greater than the second outer diameter.
DRAINAGE PIPE CONNECTION TOOL
A drainage pipe connection tool for connecting two adjacent sections of corrugated, high density polyethylene (HDPE) drainage pipe or a section of HDPE drainage pipe to a collecting basin includes a first brace member, a second brace member with a tensioning member pivotally fitted thereto and straps extending between the first brace member and the second brace member. In use, the first brace member is fitted to one of the corrugated sections of HDPE drainage pipe or behind a female bell-shaped opening of the basin, and the second brace member is fitted to the adjacent section of HDPE drainage pipe. The straps are pulled taut to remove slack, and a lever of the tensioning member is operated to apply tension on the straps, urging the adjacent drainage pipe sections together or the pipe section into the open female bell of the basin.
Multi port fluid connector
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a fluid connector mechanism having an opening therethrough. The mechanism may include a connector having a connector base portion and a piston portion including a piston housing and a piston. The opening may extend from the piston portion, through the piston, and through the connector base portion. The mechanism may also include a base having first and second pairs of O-rings arranged in first and second pairs of grooves, the opening further extending from one end of the base to another. The connector base portion and the base may be configured to engage with one another and create fluid-tight seals with the O-rings while the piston is arranged outside of the base.
STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING GASKET ON BLOCK AND GASKET
A structure for mounting a gasket on a block includes a block with a fluid channel and a gasket surrounding an opening of the fluid channel. The gasket has a sealing tip, which is an annular wall made of resin and located radially outside the opening of the fluid channel. The sealing tip is press-fitted in the block and is elastically deformable in its radial direction.
Pressure-energized probe seal for female hydraulic coupling member
A probe seal for a female hydraulic coupling member has both internal and external pressure-energized seals. The outer wall or opposing ends of the seal have one or more pressure-energized seals for sealing between the body of the probe seal and the body of a coupling member in which the probe seal is installed. Annular, L-shaped, T-shaped or angled grooves in the inner wall of the seal form cavities and sealing projections that can be urged in an inward, radial direction by fluid pressure within an associated cavity to increase the sealing effectiveness between the body of the seal and the probe of a male hydraulic coupling member inserted in the receiving chamber of the female coupling member.
