Tube fitting

A tube fitting including a sleeve member having a circumferential collar portion, the circumferential collar portion including a first tapered surface, a first coupling member having a circumferential engagement flange portion configured to couple with the circumferential collar portion of the sleeve member, and a second coupling member that includes a longitudinally extended sealing portion. The longitudinally extended sealing portion includes a second tapered surface that couples with the first tapered surface so as to circumferentially expand the longitudinally extended sealing portion, when the first tapered surface and the second tapered surface are coupled to each other, and form a fluid seal between the second coupling member and the sleeve member.

Quick connector for hydraulic hose coupling

A hydraulic fluid line coupling system is disclosed. The coupling may include a female fitting, a male fitting, first and second elastomeric seals between the female fitting and male fitting, and a lock nut securing the female fitting to the male fitting, and the lock nut including a plurality of threads.

QUICK CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ESTABLISHING AND ENSURING A FLUID-TIGHT CONNECTION BETWEEN CONDUITS

A connector assembly and method of making and ensuring a reliable, fluid-tight connection is provided. The assembly includes a housing a having a wall bounding a bore extending along a central longitudinal axis. The wall has a locking opening, a slot, and a window. A retaining member has a cylindrical wall received in the bore of the housing. The cylindrical wall has a detent received in the locking opening and a locking arm cantilevered by a hinge connection for pivotal movement. The locking arm is spaced from the cylindrical wall by a gap and is received in the slot when the detent is received in the locking opening. A visual indicator attached to the cylindrical wall moves radially outwardly into the window in response to the collar being fully received in the gap to provide visual evidence of a fluid-tight seal between the insertion member and the housing.

Adjustable connector

A dual-latch system requiring two distinct and sequential operations to verify that a proper connection has been made is disclosed. In the first operation, the fluid line is installed into the quick connector and is attached. In the second operation, the fluid line is locked into the quick connector using a separate sliding lock latch. The connector assembly comprises a housing having an inner bore for receiving a portion of the fluid line, a spring latch having radially-spaced engaging bodies for engaging the raised upset or bead of the fluid line, and a sliding lock latch having spring release interference abutments. The sliding lock latch is movable from an unlocked position in which the abutments allow movement of the engaging bodies relative to the raised upset or bead to a locked position in which the abutments restrict movement of the engaging bodies to the raised upset or bead engaging position.

Connector and assembly method for connector

To provide a connector that facilitates assembly while having a great axial-direction engagement force, a male joint member to be connected to a first member has a plurality of outer protrusions, and a female joint member to be connected to a second member has a plurality of inner protrusions. A circumferential-direction gap between adjacent two inner protrusions allows the outer protrusion to pass therethrough. The female joint member has, in an area opposed to inner protrusion back surfaces, a circular space that allows the plurality of outer protrusions to relatively rotate therein. The inner protrusion back surfaces of the plurality of inner protrusions are engaged in the axial direction with outer protrusion back surfaces of the plurality of outer protrusions that have passed through the circumferential-direction gaps between the plurality of inner protrusions.

Fitting with Locking Ring for Non-Detachable Connection to at Least One Pipe

The invention relates to a fitting for permanently connecting to at least one tube, the fitting including: a main body; a retaining element which has locking elements for locking to a corresponding locking element of the tube to be connected; a sealing element; and a blocking ring, the blocking ring allowing movement of the retaining element in the radial direction in a first axial position and preventing movement of the retaining element outwards in the radial direction in a second axial position. Said fitting solves the technical problem of providing a fitting suitable for permanently connecting tubes.

Sealing vibrational-counterrotation-proof hose joint

A sealing vibrational-counterrotation-proof hose joint capable of solving the poor sealing performance and the poor vibrational-counterrotation-proof performance of the prior hose joints, comprising a joint main body and a screw cap; a connecting section is arranged on the joint main body, and the screw cap is connected to the connecting section; the connecting section is provided with hooking claws; a squeezing section is arranged on the screw cap, and the squeezing section can squeeze the hooking claws, thereby enabling the hooking claws to bend towards the central axis of the joint main body; the screw cap is provided with locking blocks; the side wall of the connecting section is provided with locking grooves and a plurality of spiral guide bars; the spiral guide bars are uniformly distributed in a circumferential direction by taking the central axis of the joint main body as the center.
