Coupling device for media-conducting lines
A coupling device for connecting media-conducting lines has a one-part or multi-part first coupling section and a one-part or multi-part second coupling section. At least one locking element is fastened with at least one connecting section to the first coupling section and is provided with one or more locking arc sections extending in a circumferential direction between the first and second coupling sections. The second coupling section has a locking section extending circumferentially at least partially about a circumference of the second coupling section. At least one of the one or more locking arc sections interacts with the locking section.
Duct coupling apparatus and method of its use
A duct coupling apparatus includes a collar portion having a first end and a second end, a flange disposed about the collar portion in a manner that divides the collar portion into an first side and a second side, and a retaining structure extending from a surface of the flange towards the second side of the collar portion. The retaining structure and the collar portion define therebetween an annular region for receipt of a sealing element, such as an o-ring or gasket. The retaining structure prevents the sealing element from extruding outwards and/or failing when under pressure.
QUICK CONNECTOR WITH VERIFICATION
A quick connector coupling for making a severable connection with a male member in a fluid line includes a connector body having a through bore for receiving the male member having a tubular shape sized to extend into the through bore of the connector body, a retainer releasably securing the male member within the connector body, and a verifier including at least one arm extending outside the connector body. Further, the verifier is coupled to the connector body and is moved to a latched position from an unlatched position when the male member is securely connected with the connector body. The connector body includes at least one verification element, which is at least partially covered by the at least one arm extending from the verifier in the unlatched position. The verification element of the connector body is uncovered and readable when the verifier is moved to the latched position.
Pipe connecting connector
A pipe connecting connector adapted to connect a pipe to a connecting object, includes a connector main body adapted to insert or remove the pipe, and including a locking opening formed on a side portion thereof; a lock member including an annular portion and a pipe locking portion extending from the annular portion and including a locking claw extending inside the connector main body through the locking opening for locking the pipe, the lock member being movably held relative to the connector main body between a locking position wherein the pipe locking portion locks the pipe, and an unlocking position releasing the locking, and an urging device urging the lock member to a locking position side. The pipe locking portion is urged in a locking direction of the pipe by an urging force of the urging device when the lock member is in the locking position.
Tube fitting
A tube fitting including a sleeve member having a circumferential collar portion, the circumferential collar portion including a first tapered surface, a first coupling member having a circumferential engagement flange portion configured to couple with the circumferential collar portion of the sleeve member, and a second coupling member that includes a longitudinally extended sealing portion. The longitudinally extended sealing portion includes a second tapered surface that couples with the first tapered surface so as to circumferentially expand the longitudinally extended sealing portion, when the first tapered surface and the second tapered surface are coupled to each other, and form a fluid seal between the second coupling member and the sleeve member.
PART FOR COAXIAL CONNECTION OF TWO TUBES
The invention relates to a part (2) for coaxial connection of two tubes, characterised in that it comprises two connection portions (6, 7) each provided with an area (15) for receiving a connection element of each tube, and in that the two connection portions (6, 7) are capable of sliding inside one another, between a separated position of the two portions (6, 7) and a tightened position of the two portions (6, 7) in which the two receiving areas (15) form a closed contour and are capable of holding the connection elements (31, 41) together, and in that the part (2) comprises at least one radial return element (14) intended for pre-positioning the part (2) on an end region of the tubes.
Fuel injection system having a fuel-conducting component, a fuel injection valve and a connection element
A connecting element connecting a fuel injection valve to a fuel-conducting component includes: a main body having a receptacle space into which a fuel connector of the fuel injection valve is introduced; and a fastening element. At least one opening is provided in a wall of the main body surrounding the receptacle space. The fastening element for fastening the fuel connector on the main body is brought into the receptacle space at least partly through the at least one opening. At least one elastic bearing element is provided, and the fastening element brought at least partly through the opening into the receptacle space is supported on the wall of the main body via the at least one elastic bearing element.
Bonding clip for fluid conduit coupling
A bonding clip is provided in combination with a fluid conduit coupling that interconnects fluid conveying members. The bonding clip conducts electrical charge across the coupling to prevent buildup of electrostatic charges in the coupling. In one aspect of the invention, it may be considered a bonding clip. In another aspect, it may be considered the combination including the bonding clip and coupler. The invention also includes a method for dissipating electrostatic charge across a coupling used to interconnect fluid conveying members. In a preferred embodiment of the bonding clip, it includes a continuous flexible wire element mounted exteriorly of the coupling. The bonding clip is formed in a shape to connect the facing flanges of adjacent fluid conveying lines connected by the coupler, and to pass over the coupler with a defined gap separating a bridge portion of the clip from exterior surfaces of the coupler.
High pressure remote connector with self-aligning geometry
A connector can include multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures which clamp two hubs together, and a biasing device which biases the engagement structures toward an open configuration thereof, in which the hubs are separable from each other. Another connector can include multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures, each having a recess which receives hubs therein, and a sleeve which encircles the engagement structures and prevents the engagement structures from displacing radially outward from an open configuration thereof, in which the hubs are separable from each other. A method of making a connection to a wellhead can include applying pressure to a connector, thereby allowing multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures to displace outward to an open configuration thereof, and displacing one hub of the connector into contact with another hub secured to the wellhead, the engagement structures axially aligning the hubs during the displacing.
