A FILTER ELEMENT FOR A VEHICLE
The filter element includes a filter medium having an axis and forming a channel extending substantially axially, a first and a second end plates, each end plate covering one axial end of the filter medium and being sealingly mounted on the axial end, the first end plate having an opening in fluid communication with the channel, whereby a liquid to be filtered can flow through the filter medium towards the channel and out of the filter element through the opening, or reversely. The filter element further includes a protrusion fixedly secured to the first end plate and extending outwardly from the first end plate, the protrusion being substantially tubular and having a through hole in fluid communication with the first end plate opening, the protrusion forming a female coupling piece of a male-female connector, and a locking member capable of releasably locking a male coupling piece of the male-female connector in the female coupling piece.
ORBITAL COUPLING ARRANGEMENT
An orbital coupling arrangement is disclosed. In one example, the orbital coupling arrangement includes a first connector part, an orbital member, and a seal member. The first connector part can define a central passageway and can include a first connection arrangement at a first end. The orbital member can define a spherical segment and an adjacent tubular segment that together define a central passageway extending between a first end proximate the spherical segment and a second end proximate the tubular segment. The seal member is in sealing contact with the orbital member spherical segment at a location between a geometric center of the spherical segment and the orbital member first end.
Soil probing device having a string of flexibly connected rod sections
A soil probing device for determining properties of soil during penetration into ground using a soil probing device. The soil probing device has a measuring probe, a plurality of rod sections each having a central axis for assembly of the probing rod, driving means for penetrating the probing rod into the ground, and a measuring means for determining properties of the ground during penetration of the probing rod into the ground. The probing rod while penetrated into the ground is extendable each time by a new one of the rod sections. Each of the rod sections are provided at their outer ends with complementary male and female locking parts which in an axially aligned position of adjacent rod sections, are movable relative to each other from an unlocked into a locked position and from the locked position into the unlocked position.
PRESSURIZED LIQUID FILL GUN APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a fill gun apparatus for interconnection of a pump truck and a pressurized liquid delivery system. The fill gun apparatus can be easily attached and detached from an inlet port to deliver a pressurized fluid, for improved delivery, increased efficiency, increased safety, and decreased waste.
DRY DISCONNECT/BUBBLE FREE COUPLING FOR BLOOD TRANSFER
A dry disconnect device including a first portion defining an outlet and an outlet portion of a fluid pathway and a female valve disposed within the first portion having an extended position, including the female valve being configured to seal the outlet portion, and a retracted position. A second portion defining an inlet and an inlet portion of the fluid pathway is lockingly engageable with the first portion. A male valve is disposed within the second portion including a male valve transition member configured to translate the male valve from an extended position to a retracted position including the male valve being configured to seal the inlet portion. The extended position of the male valve causes the female valve to transition from the extended position to the retracted position and causes the outlet portion and the inlet portion of the fluid pathway to be in fluid communication with each other.
DRY DISCONNECT/BUBBLE FREE COUPLING FOR BLOOD TRANSFER

A second portion defining an inlet and an inlet portion of the fluid pathway is lockingly engageable with the first portion. A male valve is disposed within the second portion including a male valve transition member configured to translate the male valve from an extended position to a retracted position including the male valve being configured to seal the inlet portion. The extended position of the male valve causes the female valve to transition from the extended position to the retracted position and causes the outlet portion and the inlet portion of the fluid pathway to be in fluid communication with each other.
Interlock pipe connection
An interlock pipe joint includes a first and second tubular member. In some embodiments, an interrupted thread box and pin make up the interlock pipe joint. In other embodiments, a stepped interrupted thread box and pin make up the interlock pipe joint. In other embodiments, a twist-lock box and pin make up the interlock pipe joint. In some embodiments, an external or internal bushing is provided. In a method of operation, the first tubular member is inserted into the second tubular member by an axial insertion followed by a rotation to lock the pipe joint.
QUICK CONNECT COUPLING WITH VERIFIER
A quick connect coupling having a female part with a throughbore for receiving a tube having an annular extending bead. A latch is supported in the female part in communication with the throughbore. A verifier is provided in stacked arrangement with the latch. Insertion of the tube results in extending sides of the latch expanding outwardly and likewise expanding the extending sides of the verifier. Upon passage of the bead past the latch, the latch seating in the engaged position, with the verifier held open by alignment with the annular bead. The verifier subsequently being displaced to a fully engaged position to indicate that the fluid coupling is fluidly and fully connected.
ANTI-FREEZING WATER VALVE CONFIGURED FOR UNDERGROUND (BURIED) USE AND WITH OPTIONAL ANTI-SIPHON ASSEMBLY, AND WATER-VALVE ACCESSORIES
An embodiment of a fluid valve includes a substantially flat face plate, a receptacle, a cavity, and a drain assembly. The receptacle is disposed in the face plate and has at least one protrusion each configured to engage a respective one of at least one groove of a valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device. The cavity has a top end in fluid communication with the receptacle, and has a bottom end. And the drain assembly has a top end in fluid communication with the bottom end of the cavity, has a bottom end, and is configured to allow fluid to drain from the cavity in response to the valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device being absent from the receptacle.
PERMANENT QUICK CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY THEREWITH
A quick connector and assembly therewith is provided. The connector includes a housing having a tubular housing wall with an inner surface extending between open opposite ends with at least one locking opening extending through the wall. The inner surface bounds a through bore and forms a radially inwardly extending shoulder. A retaining member has an annular retainer wall with inner surface sized for receipt about at least a portion of the housing wall. The retainer wall has at least locking member resiliently biased radially inwardly for receipt through the opening of the housing wall in axially spaced relation from the shoulder by a gap, in which the annular collar of the insertion member is received and locked. The at least one locking member is restrained against substantial axial and rotational movement within the at least one opening, and thus, prevents unwanted removal of the insertion member from the housing.
