20220124942 · 2022-04-21 ·

Example implementations relate to a liquid cooling interconnect module of a computing system, and a tool-less method of assembling the liquid cooling interconnect module having a housing, a biasing member, and an interconnect block. The housing has an interlocking member, a support assembly, and a bore extending between a first end and a second end of the housing. The biasing member is disposed within the bore such that it contacts the support assembly. The interconnect block having a pair of through openings, is configured to be slidably inserted within the bore such that it contacts the biasing member. Further, the interconnect block is configured to compress the biasing member against the support assembly to a compressed position when the interconnect block is inserted into the bore, and the interlocking member is configured to retain the interconnect block within the housing when the biasing member is in the compressed position.

COUPLING ASSEMBLY WITH VALVES AND METHOD OF COUPLING
20210356064 · 2021-11-18 ·

A valve assembly (10) comprising a male coupling member (100) and a female coupling member (200) which are connectable by inserting a probe (110) of the male member into a socket (210) of the female member. A fluid passageway (120) within the male member has an aperture (122) on the probe that is opened and closed by a second closing member. A fluid passageway (220) within the female member has an aperture (222) within the socket that is opened and closed by a first closing member (230) moveable within the socket. When mated, fluid flows between the two fluid passageways. The female member includes a first cage (240). During insertion of the probe into the socket, the first cage releasably locks the first closing member to the probe such that the cage carries separation forces created due to the pressure of the fluid within the fluid passageways.

Handle for a coupler

A coupler for a fluid transport system comprising a handle being continuous around the coupler, the coupler having a first end and a second end, the handle having a non-constant radius with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the coupler, the handle comprising a plurality of regions being proximal the first end of the coupler, and a plurality of regions being distal the first end of the coupler.

Single-use genderless aseptic fluid couplings

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured for use in fluid systems. For example, some embodiments described in this document are single-use, aseptic fluid coupling devices that can be coupled to create a sterile flow path therethrough. Some such aseptic couplings are genderless couplings such that two identical aseptic couplings can be coupled together.

Connector for hydrodynamic applications equipped with at least one detection sensor

A hydraulic connector for hydraulic circuits includes a female coupling and a male coupling which are configured to directly couple with and decouple from each other. The female and male couplings do not include inner spaces to accommodate a first sensor. A mutual connection of the female and male couplings facilitates flow of a fluid between the female and male couplings. At least either the male or female coupling includes a first hollow element which is applied directly to an external surface of the male or female coupling to define an inner space. Either the male or female coupling includes the first sensor positioned in the inner space formed by the first hollow element. The first sensor is configured to detect and transmit electronic signals corresponding to working and/or operating parameters and/or values of the connector to a receiver.

An aseptic low-temperature coupling assembly includes a first connector, a second connector, and a gasket disposed in the first or the second connector. The first and second connectors include a first retaining feature and a second retaining feature configured to couple together the first and the second connectors and align openings in the first and second connectors. The gasket is formed to have no substantial deformation after being cooled to at least −50° C. then heated to ambient temperature. A method of aseptically connecting a low-temperature fluid storage container includes coupling a first connector to a second connector via first retaining features and second retaining features of the connectors. The coupling compresses a gasket between the first connector and the second connector and aligns an opening in the first connector with an opening in the second connector.
